“Spirit of Satoshi” portrays Satoshi Nakamoto as a female freedom fighter, breaking through the tyranny of the fiat/debt-based economy. The sculpture was meticulously crafted with foreign currencies. LED Lights illuminate the sculpture. This is a one of a kind Bitcoin sculpture.

About the Artist
Zynada Aurelio is a San Diego based painter and sculptor whose subjects range from the dark and whimsical to colorful fantasy characters.

I’m Benjamin Rafferty and I make up one half of the Art Duo “From Fire And Ice”. I’m 25 years old, and my wife and I have been making art out of Richmond, VA since 2013. I went to school for welding and have always had an appreciation for the art of fabricating. I love building and crafting, whether it be furniture, jewelry, knives, or sculptures; If it has to do with creating something original, I love it.

“I’m Immortalized!” – Junseth
“This is Awesome!” – Charlie Shrem

There are 5 figures, in the style of traditional Russian Nesting Dolls. The interlocking nature represents the interconnectedness of the community and the contributors within. The outside, or shell, represents Satoshi Nakamoto as a masked ‘Anonymous’ figure. Going ‘inward’, you see Andreas Antonopoulos, a long praised figure for educating and inspiring. Next, Roger Ver, in his iconic purple belt Bitcoin robe. Then, Charlie Shrem, and finally former-Bitcoin Uncensored host Junseth. Each has made invaluable contributions to the community. And although each individual has unique ideologies and opinions, there are still threads that connect each one back to Satoshi Nakamoto and the heart of Bitcoin.

About the Artist
My name is Rebekah Rafferty, I’m 24 years old, live in Richmond Virginia with my husband Benjamin and together we make up the art duo “From Fire And Ice”. I have a photography and film degree and also have a full time photography business Rebekah Brunson Studios. I’ve always been heavily involved with anything creative whether it be sewing, songwriting, theatre, painting, woodworking, photography, music, any mixed media project. I love creating special and unique pieces!
