Can you show me more bigger image of honey ?
What's the different benefit rather than just ordinary honey ?
How much do you charge for shipping into Indonesia ?
Just for clarification, you can't import any kind of foods and drinks to Indonesia including this honey, if you want to you need some kind of license from the government which is a hassle to do.
I know this because i tried to import monster drink to Indonesia and it got held in the custom Sad
Hope this helps Wink

It appears shipping is pretty much prohibitively expensive for selling honey. Shipping 1 KG to Indonesia the cheapest (=slowest) way would be about BTC0.045.

I will close this thread soon, since it's pretty much useless.

for my self, i have some scared about this, moreover is cross country, to far and cant to believe..
just keep my self from fraud dont effended to you.. just my perception on my head..
this your choice..

There are ways to make deals like this safer. Use escrow when dealing, maybe have a video chat between buyer and seller to build some confidence. But sure, the internet is a place where you might be scammed. Being careful makes sense.

So seriously though, is there a difference in taste between Thai honey and the one I can get at Walmart in the U.S.? Different bees make different honey?

This is the difference in honey between spring pollen and summer pollen. The flavor difference is significant. Makes me want to try Thai honey  Cheesy

Are you still selling this? Price for two bottles inc shipping to UK?

I'm not actively selling anymore. It was not a really good business, since in many places you can get decent honey from local shops without all the overhead of shipping animal products internationally. It's simply not cost effective to ship small amounts halfway across the globe. So I sold most of my stock long ago and ate the rest Tongue

If you're really in need of some specific brand of Thai honey then I wouldn't mind much to see if I can get it for you though.

Yeah right, It's like I would trust something coming from Thailand Shocked

So what are you trying to say?

Fake Honey from Fake Bees?

Or is just just that you don't trust the Thai people?

This Country (Thailand) is called the Land of Smiles for a reason Wink

Maybe you should get out of your US bubble and Travel the World  Huh

Maybe then your mind could be opened to the possibility that the World has more to offer  Roll Eyes

So seriously though, is there a difference in taste between Thai honey and the one I can get at Walmart in the U.S.? Different bees make different honey?

I think you'll find different flowers/pollen make different "flavoured" honey.

Thai bee's collect pollen from Thai flowers/plants, so yes, the honey flavour will be slightly different if the pollen the bees collect comes from other plants/flowers around the World Wink

Hope this helps Smiley
I'm not from the US!
And I know the best places to buy honey from, And Thailand isn't one of them.

Sorry for the off-topic, Best of luck with sales.

No problem, but pray tell what is the best place to buy honey from?

New Zealand.

Looks yummy, good luck selling it!

Thank you

How much for shipping to Canada (British Columbia)?   I'm also not sure if it's ok to import honey or not.

Shipping to Canada is the same as shipping to USA: BTC0.03 for registered air mail.

I've tried to check the import regulations for honey. It seems Canada has complex regulations for importing honey (see http://www.inspection.gc.ca/food/honey/imports-interprovincial-trade/overview/eng/1352740782118/1352740853690). Only the health and safety regulations would apply since the shipment will be under 20kg.

The only worry is this, since they don't provide a list of countries and I can't verify if Thailand is on it or not:
Quote from: Canada Import regulations
Due to a poor compliance history, honey imported from certain countries is subject to a hold and test program as outlined in the Automated Import Reference System (AIRS).

But I'm not a registered importer/exporter. I'm shipping exisiting products (marked as "export" quality, which I assume means they're traceable to their source). So I think it should be fine.

How much is shipping to the USA?

I added shipping price to the USA: BTC0.03 for registered air mail.

Correct. I'm actually hunting for Chitralada honey from Longan flowers, but it is surprisingly hard to get. It will taste different.

Can get that here where I am (Honey from Longan).

Surprisingly (or maybe not) they sell it in the post office near me and it can also be ordered from most OTOP suppliers around the Country Wink

Hope this helps  Wink

I've been to several suppliers claiming to carry this specific Chitralada brand. And for the past 3 weeks they've been giving me variations of "We'll have it in two weekstm"

Yeah right, It's like I would trust something coming from Thailand Shocked

I've lived in Thailand for quite awhile and IMHO Pure Thai honey has an exquisite sweetness that i've yet to taste in some of the other countries i've been to and i would totally TRUST 'something' coming from there. I'm just saying..
Free BUMP for you..Good Luck Selling!..Cheers!

Does Thai honey differ from any other regular honey? Be careful with shipping as well. Some countries have strict rules with what foods like this will be allowed into their country. Australia is pretty strict and theyll probably just destroy this sort of stuff.

Honey is a natural product and the taste will differ based on many factors. Those include climate, types of flower available, the type of bee (breed, farm, wild). Thanks for the warning about the regulations. The honey I'm selling (for now) is from qualified brands and properly packaged. I used http://auspost.com.au/apps/international-post-guide.html to check for prohibitions and if I understand correctly honey should be fine (though pollen and honeycomb are not).

I will check for any country before I send, but I'm not a lawyer and can't guarantee that my interpretation will be 100% accurate. I'm hoping the buyer will do their own search for their countries import restrictions too.
