Others don't care about ROI and simply want an ASIC to help protect the network. Different people have different reasons for wanting to get the latest technology. Please don't assume your motivations are the same as someone else's.

To be honest, it's the lowest price I've seen so far, so it's cheap. Don't forget this is not a pre-order but a delivered machine.
A machine delivered on the 8th of March will by now have mined about BTC 370 (depending on pool variance and availability)
That has absolutely NOTHING to do with what one bought now would mine.
