how has it been stored/handled? did the metal come into contact with skin or hard materials?

Because fingers have oil and collectors don’t want that all over the bars. If it was stored with other hard items, it could easily be scratched up. You have pictures, but it’s still kind of hard to tell that info. (I believe this is why they asked).
