Some time away from forums so I will be uploading photos tomorrow. Its one damn beast of a blade.

In the mean time I will throw out a flash sale on the crypto art. Right now the stocks are low and some of them are nearly sold out. The combined total cost of the art exceeds $2,750 or 3.6BTC (check yourself Wink) http://cryptoart.com

For the next week I will offer the combined collection for 2.8BTC. Thats as good as it gets. If you could see these in real life you would jump on the deal.

It will ship registered post international or express post international (with insurance) so forget the dodgy customs valuations.

First to claim them will own them.

If you want I'll throw out a public offer of 0.4BTC for the knife.

Else you could do an auction, because it seems like there is a lot of interest.

Hey mate,

Thanks for the offer!

I like the idea of an auction so I will throw it up for auction closer to the end of the week.

-Reserve will begin @ 0.4BTC
-Registered post included

*The item will not ship by any other means.

Going to take some beautiful photos for the thread.

The last of those knoves were sold at a price of ~$120. What makes you think it's currently worth $900+ ?. Just being curious since I collect knives Cheesy.

They actually sold for between:

"Price: 0.5 BTC 0.4 BTC and 0.35BTC bitcoin each"

They are about as unique as it gets. One of the best looking  and intricate bitcoin artefacts I have ever seen. I don't think anyone who bought one is going to sell. If you find one under $600 you let me know.

With super rare and special items, as time goes on the price becomes less relevant. Collectors collect. Some people will go to great lengths to accumulate rare items.

For bitcoin collectibles I search for 3 points to consider it very special.

-uniqueness
-ultra rare
- awesomeness (lol)

What a knife,is the price is nagotiateable?
Also do you have some more info about the gold and silver that are in the picture?
Would buy the knife for a bit lower price.
Thanks.

More open to trading/BTC combinations over low prices on the blade. I know there are a few people interested in it.

The gold is from the Perth mint and the silver from the US. I have more if anybody wants to buy/trade.

25 BTC Casascius is MIA through the postal system with the last logged entry in the USA. There is now a $1200 bounty for the identification of the new owner. If you see this coin for sale or display you are welcome to contact me immediately. Escrow has returned funds to the buyer and I am out of pocket. Any valuable information will pay up to $150 USD. Thank you.

Was the packed signed for? What does the last tracking entry say? Was the coin shipped internationally? How was the coin sent (USPS, FedEx, ect)?

The package wasn't signed and last logged "in transit". It was sent Australia Post and then entered the hands of USPS. The support system is bordering useless and I still await the detailed investigation notes for a third party investigation.

Who was the escrow agent that handled the transaction? I am somewhat surprised that they released funds in escrow if you have a tracking number that reflects still being in transit. Do you have an image of the waybill with the tracking number and delivery address on it?

If you want to PM me the tracking number then I can take a look, however if you had that much money on the line I would think you probably would have uncovered any stone that there is to be uncovered.

Blazed handled escrow professionally.

Here are the last details;

Take note: It is a redeemed coin.

Once Australia post release the notes I will have a more detailed analysis. Apparently they are waiting on USPS...

Does your track number work at USPS.com?  It may give more detail if typed in there?
Many times they carry over from your country.
It may have never left US customs in New York.......Huh?

You should be able to phone the customs office and at least get some info if the package is there or not.

Hey guys,

Market has fired up and after a fair few bids flying about the 25 BTC coin will likely sell this week. I will ask the buyer to post here confirming the trade.

I can confirm there are offers over 1 BTC closer to my original ask of 1.5 BTC. Somebody has a decent price valid for 24hrs to execute the sale (waiting to hear back).

Heres some more brilliant shots of the coins and knife. Still cant embed photos  Angry

There have been a few offers flying around for the coins but it is the cryptoart that has received less interest. For the price and numbered release I cant believe they have not sold, thoughts were that people think its too good to be true?

I think the problem with the art is, that it is still not sold out at cryptoart. Only 35 pieces each, but still availible at original seller after so long time on the market.
The high price is only justified by the low number of production... but it seems that the demand is still not high enough.

The art is going for $1099 USD and here I am selling for $850 with another $150 USD for value for first buyer. The pieces are absolute quality and will eventually sell out. If you ever wanted to get one I will be the cheapest to get it.

Really tempted to make an offer on some of your coins, but considering you are new and have set it up as a self moderated topic really sets off alarm bells that I can't silence  Undecided

I know escrow is always an option but that just adds more time and expense to the transaction

Moderating a topic makes sense to me as you can remove trolling if ever needed. Escrow can be used of course and I would expect the costs negligible to the transaction?

You are welcome to make offers and we can navigate the transaction after price discovery.

I am most reasonable and will remain flexible.

If any trusted senior members are interested I may ship these items overseas for brokerage. I think they may fetch more interest coming from a well known figure.

Let me know what your thoughts are

Well, you could ship them to someone like me (if you feel I am trusted enough), but so long as you use escrow that is not required and just adds costs. Your Casascius coin should get some interest as some people really like the spent ones. If it were loaded I would make you an offer for sure. If you are willing to roll the dice maybe try auctioning it off?

1.5 BTC is as low as it will go. These are too hard to find now and this is the only one for sale that I know of.

How did you make the photo come up like that?

Code:

You can always press "quote" on a given post to inspect the SMT syntax used.

You can tweak the code a little by e.g. adding width=300 in the img-tag

Did you buy the lealana coin from one of smoothies auctions or from his website?

Also why/how are you selling the pictures cheaper then what they can otherwise be purchased for?

The Lealana's were purchased directly from Smoothie's website. It was a pleasure doing the transaction.

I am selling the works cheaper because I am looking for a sale. This will explain the decent buyer perk's.

I can do this price because as an early buyer they have appreciated significantly over time. I forecasted a USD $2k for 2015 and personally, I would be happy to pay this. I can see adoption commanding premium. I can tell you now, as soon as I am in the position I will be repurchasing the above items and whatever else I can.

Why must I sell my beloved treasures? I am starting a business and need to direct the BTC as capital. If it follows plan then maybe I can get them back.

There are 35 of these as the first and last of their kind. I have the 10s and do not think you will ever see a deal like this again.

Shipping from Australia worldwide with preferred registered post.

Art: Limited edition crypto art pieces.
Knives: Limited edition (20 fashioned)

After searching the bitcoin realms in pursuit of extremely rare and exotic goods I came across "cryptoart" mid 2014. These pieces are very well made using a combination of art, technology, money and bitcoin. The founder has 15+ yrs exp in fine art and has gotten these beauties on the cover of "Bitcoin magazine", various conferences and even in the Canadian senate. Read the blog its impressive.

The (3) I am selling are absolutely stunning. They look pretty spectacular from the iphone photos but in real life its something else. Even people that have no idea about bitcoin are left gazing in amazement.

The buyer doest not just get the artwork but will own print rights for the pieces. These guys have pretty well thought of everything and you will be looked after. Read about that here http://cryptoart.com/cryptoart-reprint-rights/ .

I recommend doing some reading and finding out just how special they are. I am quite surprised this marketplace has not seen any come through.

The next precious item is my bitcoin knife. They are unique (only 20 made) 1.2BTC

This knife is an absolute masterpiece. It is by far the most unique bitcoin item I have ever come across. To this day, I have not seen any come through the marketplace after they sold out years ago.

My plans where to polish, oil and frame them on a black backdrop. There are (2) 1 for sale.

I also have a redeemed 25 BTC Cassascius that I will consider offers.

You are welcome to make offers. This is a great addition to your Bitcoin collection.

Any more pics or information just ask.

EDIT. Cat attack. As I am taking these photos I have the "Certificates of authenticity" next to the bench resting on a stool. My curious cat has been lingering about wondering what it is I am doing. After some more shuffling she has decided to inspect and launched herself onto the stool. The cat has landed on the certificates and slid off the stool taking them with her. The cat was grinning and I picked up the certificates to see a perfect paw slash on the top left corner of Alexander Fedosovs "Chinese Girl" and another paw across the bottom. The certs where in plastic but my cat has super claws and it went right through. The other two are scathed to a lesser extent. I think this makes them more valuable? If you want a photo of the attack let me know!

P.S. I cant believe that happened.
