I wouldn't really recommend this. There isn't much of a point of having a GUI to a Linux server. Most of the stuff you are going to want to do would not be any harder than just using the terminal, which you can easily do through SSH with the terminals on your own computer or PuTTY if you are on Windows. Furthermore, even if the overhead of running the GUI for the desktop in the VPS is not too much (it would kind of depend on your own specs), you would still be getting better performance from your applications, including miners, wallets, and trading bots if you do everything to the command line. CLIs are fairly easy to learn, especially the Linux ones which have tons of reference pages online and offline through the use of man. It really is worth taking a look at.

Want to run your PoS staking wallets 24/7 without having a PC on at home using electricity? Want to run algo trading software or back up important files? Have a professional Linux System Admin install Linux, set up an easy to use desktop (that operates just like a windows desktop), and install secure remote access so that you can connect to check on your wallets, or software from anywhere in the world!! EVEN ON YOUR Android or iOS SMARTPHONE!

What is a VPS?

A VPS is a Virtual private server, which is like having someone else run a computer for you but instead it's a virtual computer inside a giant server room. It's secure and includes secure access which will be configured by our linux professionals?

What is Linux?

Linux is an operating system like Windows or Mac OSX. By default Linux doesn't come with a desktop (like windows) and this is installed separately by our professional linux system admins.

Why Linux instead of Windows or Mac?

if you want to run staking wallets or software 24/7 on a VPS then the Linux VPS packages are much cheaper than the Windows packages. That is because Windows is a resources hog (it uses allot of computer memory, CPU and bandwidth) which means the server requires better more expensive hardware on a more expensive VPS plan. Mac OSX is not available on VPS Virtual Private Servers.

Why not do it myself?

Sure you could...but on Linux setting up proper security, a nice desktop, remote access (even connect from your phone) and getting support if you have any issues or questions, requires a Linux professional. Especially if your a beginner to Linux...I can almost guarantee your going to have questions that you'll wan't professional help to answer.

Is my data secure? How do I know only I will have access

I run a Canadian Incorporated company Registered within Canada. We go through a strict exit procedure to ensure all security is re-set so only you have access
After VPS work is complete.
  • We disconnect from all connections then walk you through changing passwords
  • Show you how to perform a netstat check to show all other connections are severed
  • Walk you through changing ALL connection passwords a) VPS website password b) root password and c) Username password
  • Walk you through setting up a secure encrypted SSH tunnel connection to encrypt all data sent back and forth between your VPS and computer.

What's included in the VPS Package?

  • Install Ubuntu
  • Install fully-featured Linux desktop (operates just like windows)
  • Install remote access VNC client (so you can connect from your PC or smartphone)
  • Install your software package to run on the Linux desktop
  • 1 Hr of Linux System Admin Service and support
  • Select one of our supported crypto trading bots and receive a walk-through on the basics of how to operate the crypto trading bot
