Hey i could be wrong normally & usually i am... But it seems your contracts are a bit expesive

Grouphashing.com  offering 1000 kh/s 1- bitcoin for  a whole year & 2000 kh/s  for 2.1 -bitcoins

Bitcoop.org offering 100 kh/s for $150  for entire year

Naw, maybe im just confused about your whole pricing model...

Hi,

I just went to pay a visit to grouphashing.com and apparently it was a nice big scam...

Scrypt hashing has its cost. 1BTC for 1 mh/s was too damm cheap... Electricity cost only is higher than that!
not sure if correct  Roll Eyes

I guess it is. In order to have 1 mh/s of power you need to have about 1.5 gpu running and it's like 300w per gpu + 100 for motherboard ram + hdd.

So let's say something like 500 w x 24h = 12 kw/h per day x 365 = 4380 kw/h    price for europe is around 0.2 $ per kw/h = 4380 x 0.2$ = 876 $

About the price of a 1 BTC until recently and only for electricity costs. So definitively a scam there on that site.

Not sure how they are able to offer the price this low. How long have they been in business?

Electricity and hosting for full year aren't cheap. KNC charged the customer $333 per month to host Jupiter (consume around 600-700 watts I think).

But you are right, if grouphashing can deliver the service at that price, you should take it.

Why does it take so long (2-3 weeks) to get the contract started?
What miner are you using to achieve your speed?
Also interested in knowing if you can do other alt-coins like the poster above me.

I have a few PC using 7950 running at the moment and a lot of 3-5+ years old pc mining other coins.

All new models will use R9 290 graphic cards, 2 per PC (around 1600 k hash).

It is hard to get graphic card supply right now, hence the long delivery time. And it will take 1-2 days to assembly after I get all the parts. And 3 - 7 days to test the miner before I can leave it running without my attention. And if the order is place during holiday season, I do not know when I will be able the get all the parts needed.

Would you be willing to mine other alt-coins? If so, I'm interested

Yes. You will need to provide the cgminer parameters pointing to your account at the pool.
