The MacBook Pro sale has nothing to do with him getting marked as a scammer.

Did I miss something?  There was no MacBook Pro sale.

For some reason it seems that all *pad, iPhone, and MacBook ads are all scams.  I can't recall a single legit sale of any of these items for as long as I've been on these boards.

The paperwork that I have to fill out to get someone marked as a scammer is quite intensive. It sucks to do it. For some people, it has required an hour to fill out. Luckily, I was able to do the abbreviated version for this guy.

Yeah, i imagine there was plenty of proof on the forums.  If not, I can throw in the PMs sent back and forth from my loan if it helps.
If you notice, he's already marked as a scammer, which is why I was glad to just do the abbreviated paperwork. If you need me to disclose personal information, that will be much harder. I can do it, but I'd prefer if you guys figured it out on your own.

If any mod or admin is following this, I fear kujoking7 deserves a SCAMMER tag now.
Give him a bit. If you see him trying to pull a last minute scam, though, let us know.

This guy is gone, along with all the BTC he "borrowed."
*sigh*
I'll start the paperwork...

*sigh*
If it was up to me, you wouldn't have to do it, and everyone would get their coins back.   Wink

But alas, I don't own the world...... yet...........  Muhahahahahaaaaa!  *Cough * *weez*

Ok.  Let's get this started.  Since the seller is kojoking7, he needs to state where and how much the repayments are (in other words he has to publicly agree to what the others have stated as addresses) and we can get this done.  Please put it in one single post to this thread, not all spread out.  If this is to be all done in BTC I am fine with that, and I will turn my $600 into BTC.  If the exchange rate changes better or worse it will not matter.

I agree.

Mage, could you please handle this one. At some point, Littleshop needs to convert $600 into BTC. At that point of time all the lenders agree to that exchange rate. It can be done right after the proof of shipping, or after Littleshop received the laptop. I assume that everyone agreed that Littleshop will make payment(s) _only_ after getting the actual laptop.

Logically, it would make the most sense to make the conversion at the time of payment, since that's what kujoking7 agreed to receive. It doesn't matter that the funds will be directed toward the lenders and that if the conversion was made right now, kujoking7 would at least be able to pay off everyone's principle. kujoking7 sold the Macbook for $600, so that's what he should receive (even though it'll immediately be converted to bitcoin and he won't be getting it personally).

Perfect.

Is Maged willing to 'rip off' the seller and use the escrowed bitcoins for payments to other addresses? Is the seller aware of the conditions?
I may be missing some context / history, just want to buy an affordable laptop here.
If kujoking7 is unable/unwilling to ship the product under these terms, you will be refunded. If this ends up not being enough to pay off all of the creditors, I would be willing to remit the cost of shipping (converted to Bitcoins) to kujoking7 upon receiving a scanned receipt (assuming the buyer gives the all-clear).

I'm not considering buying any more. Checked the overseas shipping costs but worse the 2009 model does not have hardware support for AES, show stopper. I must look for i5 or at least i3 CPU laptop.
Thank you for the clarification on escrow. I had a look at the other forums and see how why he's selling.

good luck getting your high interest loans back. considered haircut already? but with the fluctuations in exchange rate the final btc amount could be enough.

I am also available for escrow. No fee since it is part of an open investigation. Also, your coins will be treated in a completely neutral manner. If you get ripped off, they will be returned to you. On the flip side, if you release the coins from a positive outcome, they will go directly to his creditors.

like no ups/dhl dispatch / track proof will be available (no online tracking number) and package never arrives?
Yes, among other possibilities. I am well aware of all the possible scams out there.

The bounty for buying this MBP is now 15 BTC.
That's an effective discount of $90! (well, a bit more.)

@Littleshop: I hope that this entices you to offer $700, since you offered $600 before.

I am willing to do this under my terms.  Seller sends to me first and agrees payments go directly to creditors.  Creditors post addresses for repayment with amount owed and amount that is essential forgiven.  Seller agrees.  I get laptop in good condition with disks, box, power adapter.  I pay out $600 in coins to posted and agreed addresses.

There is another willing buyer above.  I am not anxious to do this so they might have better or different terms.

Hi everyone,

There is a 10 BTC bounty for buying this item... so you can consider that a discount if you are a prospective buyer.
I will be adding to this bounty later.
The bounty only applies if funds go through a reputable escrow like Maged, and then he gives kujoking's creditors their coins (with interest and late payment fees) before giving the rest to kujoking.

Is Maged willing to 'rip off' the seller and use the escrowed bitcoins for payments to other addresses? Is the seller aware of the conditions?
I may be missing some context / history, just want to buy an affordable laptop here.

It's not a rip off; the seller owes coins and those coins need to be paid to his creditors.
The seller is aware of the conditions and is willing to use escrow.
