gray matter i dont think you have patented the design of a 4u case....

Quite true, however, this is an exact copy of our design.  Specifically, fold patterns, hardware placement, etc.  Point is this guy bought one of our cases and literally copied the design fold for fold while making a few cosmetic changes.  In the United States, that is covered under Intellectual Property Copyright laws.  Like i said, he's not the first, he won't be the last.  Difference is the guys who do it in the US will get hit with an injunction.

I think that you are taking the wrong approach to competition. There are very few combinations to get 6-8 gpu's in a case with a motherboard and 2 psu's. You didn't invent the measurements or the method or the machine to create this. You didn't invent any of the parts or the way to put them together either.

Having built something doesn't give you explicit rights to the building of said item.

Ideas are cheap, once you have one and share it...then it becomes everyone's idea.

I actually have this original case from miningrigs.net and i was very happy with it.

Here is a photo with 6x R9 290X GPU's inside:

I have seen quite a few people replicate a similar looking case.

Thanks!

I have not bought any of your cases. Looked at it once when friend came and asked me to make a case for him. only in America common sense and 20 years of experience in metal works you can call a theft of intellectual property ! there rly is one proper way how to fold metal case without welding it. Its no rocket science man.

see the simbols at the end, we call them Thunder cross to repel bad energy from the case and it guarantees suns life time for your GPU Smiley

All this guy is selling is a modified 4U case.

Hardly theft of something intellectual...

It's inevitable that someone comes out with a different or cheaper or even better way to make something.

Yeah, they call this competition.. I saw somewhere a guy making these out of wood for $50.

Supply/demand drives the market. Monopolies are mostly beneficial to the business owner.

Actually it's called theft of intellectual property.  We've already shut down two groups in the US that tried to copy our design.  Luckily for this guy he's outside the US and thus difficult to go after legally.

Offer to create mining rig case rack type. Price would be around 150 eur + shipping (EU). First prototype model can see in pictures. we are planing to offer shorter model, because this is a little bit too long, but good for big mining rigs with extra server psu.
