PICTURE OF ENTIRE COLLECTION: (Proof)
(This sale comes with everything shown in pictures + the Virtual Bitcoin #71 NFT)
(Items 1, 2 & 3 Like Casascius, Lealana & Satori)
I believe that item #1 is in the top 100 of the rarest physical Bitcoins on the planet!
Few other physical Bitcoins rival this one & they are all but impossible to get your hands on.
Believe me when I say it's all but impossible. I have tried to get my hands on them. Many collectors hold on to them & are reluctant to sell.
Even the lesser of these coins rarely hit the market & still manage to sell for thousands of dollars when they do.
Often damaged or common in comparison.
(Particularly the gold coins/bars)
Through my own research, there is somewhere in the ballpark of 2000 gold products that contain, can contain, or once contained Bitcoin. That makes 3 categorizes. Loaded coins, User fundable/fungible coins & used/broken coins.
- A loaded coin can be viewed as a piggy bank with money in it or in this case Bitcoin.
- A user fundable/fungible coin could be viewed as a piggy bank awaiting its first penny.
- A used/broken coin is more or less the pieces of a broken piggy bank.
This analogy isn't perfect but it is one way to understand how these coins differ.
There have been many different companies/produces of physical Bitcoins & collectables. Many of which never produced a gold product in which to contain bitcoin. The ones that did sell gold products had very low mintages of these products.
For example: The original physical Bitcoin maker, Mike Caldwell, produced 5 gold Casascius coins loaded with 1000 Bitcoins. Each weighed 1 oz. Two of the coins have been redeemed. Only 3 are left that still contain the 1000 Bitcoins (https://casascius.uberbills.com/?type=1000g&status=active). The loaded coins are worth approximately 50 million dollars each (https://coinweek.com/recent-articles-video/48-million-gold-1000-bitcoin-physical-coin-submitted-by-greatcollections-to-pcgs/). Although, Mike also created a number of those same gold coins unfunded. That number was 50. Most of them belonged to just one person, Charlie Lee, the Creator of Litecoin, who, relatively recently, had sold all of them, 1 for 14 Bitcoins in March 2017 when BTC was approximately $1200 (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-unfunded-casascius-1000btc-1oz-gold-coin-to-celebrate-gold-parity-1812466) & another in Sept 2020 in a more recent public sale which was a graded MS66 & bought by Jackbauerscsg for 2.0BTC when BTC was around $11,000! (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5276323). Charlie sold the last one he had for 3.5 Bitcoin on September 17, 2020. (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5276323) At that rate these coins were selling between $16,800-$38,000 respectively & this rate is from 2 years ago. Personally, I would be ecstatic to cough up a my left nut to get my hands on such a coin, it would be a gift to be able to buy one. I wouldn't be surprised if only half of these gold products created by Casascius remain intact. There is certainly no more than 50. ()
Endorsed by Mike Caldwell (), Denarium physical Bitcoins are among the 3 top physical Bitcoin producers. Lealana, Satori, & Titan are considered contesters for the top 3 physical Bitcoin makers along side Denarium.
Satori minted plastic, poker chip themed, physical Bitcoins & never created a metal or precious metal Bitcoin/Token.
Lealana minted a variety of metal physical Bitcoins. Mostly, copper or brass. None to my knowledge were made out of gold. A handful of Lealana coins were made out of silver.
Titan also minted a variety of metal physical Bitcoins. They are the only other, well known, physical Bitcoin producers, that I know of, that created solid gold products. There were only up to 1100 of these to ever be created. There is no known # that was produced that I can find. Just a cap on how many there could be. Titan also had some serious issues with redeeming Bitcoin stored on there Tokens. (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.58365070)
There are a few other less well known Physical Bitcoin producers that created some gold products & they are few & far between. For example: A physical Bitcoin producer called Crypto Imperator made only 10 1/2 oz gold physical Bitcoins.
Other producers have made some commemorative coins made out of various materials (Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass, etc.) but they do not act as piggy banks or cold wallets. They are simply coins stamped with Bitcoin memorabilia. (Like item #4)
Having this rough estimate goes to show that solid gold physical Bitcoins are extremely rare. The ones that are funded cost the most. Justly due to the amount of BTC held on them. The coins that follow are those that are of low mintage, low year, good brand, have not been "broken" & can still be used to store Bitcoin on them. Lastly, there are the coins that have been used/broken, which still, depending on which one, costs thousands of dollars to get your hands on.
Note: All of this information is speculation within reason formed from many extensive hours of research.
I love Denarium. Others love the various different physical Bitcoin brands.
The reason I love Denarium is because they are the most trustworthy & most reliable of all the producers of physical Bitcoins that I have come across, 2nd to Casascius.
It is super easy to navigate https://denarium.com/ & find out how many of each various coin was produced.
Denarium is also backed by the OG, The G.O.A.T. of physical Bitcoins makers, Mike Caldwell. ()
Therefore, it is my belief that Denarium takes 2nd place in the top 3 of physical Bitcoin Producers.
Denarium like most of the physical Bitcoin producers, as you may know, no longer sells or creates these special, one of a kind, pieces of Bitcoin history.
While in operation Denarium had created just over 15,000 products.
Most of which were made from brass/copper alloy. They also created some silver products but only 475 products were made out of gold.
They had 5 different versions of gold products. 2 of which I am selling.
I am asking .5 Bitcoin OBO for this entire collection.
Note: Please feel free to interact with this page & share any knowledge about the gold products that exist (In a positive manner). This took me some time & is a working process. I would enjoy any positive feedback or information regarding these products. I am always looking to buy these (gold) coins myself as well. Feel free to ask questions & send offers (PM). This sale is first come first serve. Cheers! [email protected]
