How much for shipping to the UK.

Looking at possibly 3 complete unit.

Will these break out boards work with any other HP Server PSU's? Ideally i'd like to power 3 s3's with each PSU so would need 1100w+

Shipping for 3 kits to the UK would be $58.65

These boards don't work with any supplies that put out more than 1000 Watts.  We have another board coming out for HP Common Slot style supplies coming out the first week of Sept. that go up to 1200 Watts.

On stock clocks and 240v wall power you can probably power 3 S3's per supply with these.  I haven't tried it but based on my calculations it is just within the specs.  You can definitely do 2.5 S3's per supply since and boards are independent they don't need to be on the same supply.  To get the 6 PCIe cables you would need though you would want to go with the 16AWG cables + splitters sold by klondike_bar

However, I'm wondering if you'd be willing to knock off the cost of the PCI-E cables so I can use klondike_bar's 16 AWG ones instead.

For sure, for just the board and PSU we can do $59.75 + shipping

BTW for kits; shipping to anywhere in the US via Priority mail is $11.30 for up to 3 complete kits and $17.50 for 3 - 6 complete kits.

seems like a great deal to buy your setup.

? - I use the Corsair PSU's now.  They are really quiet.  What can you tell me about the noise level for this HP PSU?

I used to use the Corsair's as well.  No question these are louder.  How loud will depend on your exact setup.  The fan speed is automatically controlled to ramp up / down with the temperature as needed.

What gauge wire do the pci-ie cables use?

Also do you know the efficiency rating of these HP PSUs?

Our standard kit come with 18 AWG wires but the terminals can work with any gauge up to 12.  You and double up on any gauge up to 16.

The efficiency of the PSU is on par with a 80 Plus Bronze rated supply.  We have some boards coming out the first week of Sept. that will work with HP common slot supplies rated up to 80 Plus titanium.

I guess that is not so bad considering the cost (talking about the efficiency level) of the PSU itself. In the long run it's not going to makek a huge difference between 80 Bronze and 80 Gold or higher.

However, I'm wondering if you'd be willing to knock off the cost of the PCI-E cables so I can use klondike_bar's 16 AWG ones instead.

Likely very loud - they're pretty small but high speed fans. The good thing is that they are thermally controlled so if you're not putting a heavy load on them they will not be as loud. I do not know the thermal load fan curve and when I tried to search for it I found nothing useful.
