Hi,
Yes you guys caught me red handed trolling in this thread. I know that these are pre-1967 and should be ok to melt. The illegal time was pre 1967 and even then people were hoarding melting them down.

Incorrect. The law that made it illegal to melt currency was passed in 1967, all currency produced before 1967 is legal to melt down. Luckily for us, it is 1965 and earlier that are 90% silver, so all 90% silver coins are legal to melt.
