they are tempermental, but not bad once you run them for a bit.   I have been operating 3 of those for a year now.  When they can't talk to the blockchain or see the wallet , then they read an error.  The tablet inside of them has problems with its wireless signal often , and the bill changer needs cleaning frequently if you are doing a bunch of business or it will stop accepting bills.  One of the units I received from skyhook was not put together properly and I had to take out the changer and reseat it so it would feed money properly.  Yes, they glitch, but when you learn them and get the bugs out, they are awesome.

It gets btc from a blockchain.info wallet.  These things are very temperamental and require a high level of technical knowledge to operate when they act funny.  The company that makes them, BTCPDX is ABSOLUTELY ZERO help on support.  They're not even shipping last I heard on the skyhook reddit.  The only support you will get is from other users on the reddit page.  http://www.reddit.com/r/projectskyhook

Im not trying to shit on your sale here...  just letting people know these are not easy to deal with.  They violate kyc/aml laws so they are basically useless.  If you are not very technical person this may not be the right atm for you even if you don't care about kyc/aml.  My experience with mine was basically a total waste of money except for the fact that I take it to meetups and it make for a nice addition.

This is incorrect.  I've discussed the matter with FINCEN and as long as it's your coins and there's no third person involved, it does not violate the kyc/aml laws.  Also, in Missouri, you don't even have to register with Department of Finance or Revenue (sales tax).  I've got 2 right now and once up and running they work great.

I would be interested in hearing more can i pm you on this? If so it serves to help the seller Tongue

Skyhook Bitcoin ATM - SKY11A (USD/BTC) excellent condition with wall mounting bracket attached.
Unit accepts USD cash and sends buyers BTC. Requires some technical knowledge to operate and a stable internet connection.

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ele/5001677554.html

$900/BTC equivalent. Prefer local pickup as its going to be a pain to ship but I will ship for $75

I'm also curious. I'm located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Within pickup range of you... Would the btc essentially pull from some type of wallet and accept cash? Does it work both ways? Can users deposit BTC for Cash?
