I'll give 60 with escrow through philipma1957. You pay shipping.

Oof, it looks like this user is trying their best to one-up my offer; So it looks like it is time to start ironing out semantics and terms to figure out which offer will actually put more money into your pocket.

Scrappy, are you planning on sending 60 + transaction fees, or will the transaction fees be coming out of the $60 offer?
I was planning on OP receiving $50, and I was going to cover escrow fee (if any) and transaction fees (without making them so low that it will take days).

As they have already mentioned that they would be paying shipping, I find it a little interesting that you thought it necessary to reiterate that they will be; although I suppose I did something similar, although less assertive, when I asked if they'd still hold their terms on shipping while lowering their price to only 1/3 of the original ask.  After a little clarification OP should have a more clear picture of which offer is actually better, and upon answering my previous questions I may be interested in raising my offer, if it is not still the "best" offer.

Well it seems sir cobra is trying to do a rooty poot. I sent him escrow info and all he wants is direct send....

EDIT: POSSIBLE RECANT OF ALL ALLEGATIONS I MADE AS SELLER CLAIMS Philipma1957 NEVER RESPONDED. I am resending the request to Philip and hopefully this can be resolved. If indeed I am wrong, I truly apologize to afcobra2. I will update this.

No idea why he never even responded to this thread instead of waiting till now to say I destroyed him here. Again, I will recant everything, and if you deliver I will even give ya trust. Just weird you never even responded to this original thread...

Oh well then.. that says it all. No escrow. Wants a quick and free couple of bucks sent first with boots (hopefully) to follow (that's if he really has them).

Pictures.. you can get them literally anywhere. They're no guarantee the actual stuff will be delivered.

With escrow being refused, you guys all know what to do for your safety's sake. Do NOT send coins upfront. It might be only $50 but it's still half a Benjamin and you don't pick them off trees easily. People work hard for their money.

I suggest giving this a wide berth. Unless he comes to his senses and says yes to escrow.

The price seems correct if it does include the transaction fee, but if not then would it be better considering lowering your asking price because I think the price is too high even though it's a good quality product. But if you include the shipping price in that, it doesn't seem like a bad deal. Well over-all not a bad product to sell.

I'm going to assume that lowering the price doesn't change the terms on shipping, is that correct? Hopefully that's not me being naive, but $50 and free shipping sounds like something I may be able to get behind. I cut through my boots with a machete last winter, that was not a pretty picture to say the least. I almost lost a few toes, the boots are ruined and stained in blood; nevertheless I'm in the market for some new boots and these would fit nicely. I've never been big into North Face boots, always been more of a Timberland man myself, but I'm willing to give them a try at such a bargain of a price.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you obtain these boots? Why have they not been worn? Do you have the original box, receipt or invoice?

How can the buyer be assured that these are not a knock-off or counterfeit version? I don't mean to bombard you with questions, but I am genuinely interested and seem to be the only one at this point. I'm just wondering if you found these at Marshall's or some similar outlet store and are simply trying to earn profit on marking them up.

Last question and I'll let you do your best to sell me the boots, are you willing to accept escrow? Terms are negotiable, but I won't be accepting any terms that nullify the usage of an escrow, which a lot of members seem to not understand for some reason.
