Let me know when you have a playable poker set, as I am also interested in seeing pricing for a 'basic' no frills type of set of chips for 5 or more players, maybe add a nice case, cards etc?

Since you've bumped this offer under the premise that you haven't sold as many as you expected, "we still have some left!"
May I ask why these are priced so high per chip? I know a lot of people that would love to use these in poker games - my poker game would be into it, I'm sure others would be too! But we're not going to buy chips for BTC0.0035 each and then also load them with actual bitcoin value.
You should most of these as sets and you should make it more affordable for us to buy a set to be used in an actual poker game. We need at least 100 chips total for a 5 person game, obviously with a few different denominations.
How can most of us get in on this great product at a more fair price? These chips are great, it's the price that's keeping me from buying some. Thanks for making a great product.
For my group - we'd only be interested in a game set that can be loaded. If the chips aren't able to be loaded we should just design our own to commemorate our own game, not PHYSiBiT.

These were originally designed for collectors and to be used as Cold Stores and a bit of fun.
The subject of actual "gaming sets" worthy of use in actual poker play has come up a few times and we have a few set designs in development. In fact, they're close to production but we also have a number of other things happening recently that have kept me busy and more focused on those than these chips.
However, demand is there and I'll be more than happy to fulfil it once the more immediate business (and moving house) issues pass.
With a combination of double faced designs - pure fun only and our NFC Poker chips we have a number of really cool things coming up that will hopefully generate some enthusiasm for use and play.
Costs on things like the Double face are lower as there are no holos.
NFC will be similar to holo costs and as demand has shown itself to be there we can produce more chips rather than limited runs such as Series 1.
We aim to improve our products every time and always appreciate constructive feedback.

Production run will be at some point this week
Once complete, I will arrange for the US customers to get theirs asap and all UK/EU/Asia ones go thru myself.
Set #100 will be raffled off in the near future or may take part in a competition of some kind, keep watching.
We are sending 2 sets to CoinFestUK 2017 as part of their raffles prizes.

There were 100 of each of the 8 denominations made.
They were sold as sets at first and then later sold as individual chips.

We do have plans for a "Game Play" series in 2017 that will be Double faced (i.e. NO Holo) with selected denominations. They'll be just for fun and there won't be a "Collectable" version of them (at least none is planned so far) - They will be mass produced to get the best possible pricing.

I just picked up a numbered set at auction and will definitely be looking forward to these "Game Play" chips which would be good for a full set.

I don't fully understand the contents of a so called 'Collectors set' due to the thread styling. A set is supposed to contain a total of 8 chips? In other words, $80 for 8 chips?

Sales for individual chips are now open
The idea for the Collection was born from seeing other makers using a poker chip as the vehicle to store low Bitcoin value and to use those as give-away's, gifts and promotional items. They are unfunded, DIY chips.
After creating our own 0.001BTC chip, we decided to explore the idea further and made a complete range of 8 denominations.
We're rather pleased with the result and believe you will be too.
The Hologram
The hologram uses simple elements in 3 separate layers over a “dynamic” background.
Using well known bitcoin motifs and logos the hologram was created to be appealing and allow for easy observation of interference.
An Anti -Tamper hologram is provided with each chip to allowing the owner to seal a printed private key (of the users own creation) underneath.
These are DIY chips. Holograms are NOT attached.
Chip and Hologram design by Vizique - All components and printing of the Chips and the Holograms were UK sourced and made.
