I agree price point should not be an issue, dont like the price dont buy.  What people should spend their efforts on his slowing down scammers and stop worrying about price points to the point of killing a thread, its not like he is asking something crazy rediculous.  Good luck with your sale, so long as you are offering a safe form of transaction for the buyer

Thank you, this is the first meaningful post in this entire topic ! I apologize to the community that this topic turned into a complete circus and I couldn't contain my nerves too.

I have created another topic that is locked, even though that's something i strongly dislike, so if somebody is interested please take a look at the terms there and PM me if interested. If somebody feels that I've omitted anything that allows for more transparency, PM me about it and I'll include it in the main post.

I would in the future create a self moderated topic, as it is still not the best but at least allows members to interact in an open manner. This way you are being transparent with on topic postings.

Should you be trolled over price point you can delete the post; preferably quote them somewhere so that you are at least documenting the deletions. Unfortunately there is no perfect answer good luck with your sales.

You should also be able to lock this thread so that it can fade into oblivion.

Learn to read pal it was a quote from you ie the overpaying client gets to mine and extra few days but is now down an EXTRA $1000 for overpaying. Let your blood boil just informing the potential customer whats really going on here. Oh yea they are shipping on may 7th pal "2 weeks?"

I was referring to your other topic where you are trying to sell another miner you used 15 days and selling it also at retail please catch up I know you are a little slow.

Man, you're a savior of poor souls that would have been ripped-off by me - you deserve a medal. And you did it out of your kind heart - certainly not because you want to get a cheap miner out of this.

Does the fact that I explained the pricing logic openly in the topic multiple times as opposed to PM'ing you lead you to believe that I'm not really hiding anything here ?

Well why don't you post it there, genius ? I posted a higher price because I know that people would try to low-ball just like you and we could meet at the right level. And then by opening this topic for a miner that's the same but cheaper, do you think I haven't abandoned the other one?

Let's get this straight so you want us the consumer to pay you for the "extra days we will get to mine" and that's your "profit"? If we order from the manufacturer we are not losing nor gaining money by waiting till the 7th when they are currently shipping correct?  We are simply paying the $3700 approx  not a penny more and waiting less than 5 days for it to arrive. Your sales pitch is piss poor at most, anyone with a halfway decent head on their shoulders will not fall for this or any of your other posts where you have bought miners and used them "15" days and want to sell them at full retail.

You are a fucking moron seriously, I was really trying to keep it civil but people like you make my blood boil.

The item is sitting in a box in my living room, still unopened after receiving it from Innosilicon. How the fuck did I mine with it for 15 days when Inno started shipping the first items 4 days ago and this is one of them???

If you want to order from them JUST GO FUCKING DO IT AND STOP POSTING HERE. If it was such a fucking great deal why do you keep stalking my topics and trying to low ball a price to get your hands on one of them? I am not doing a sales pitch, people can either buy from Inno and sit on their cash for 2 weeks or convert this cash to crypto by paying my premium and them mining with the machine for two weeks. And it saves you the hassle of dealing with them and waiting for a delivery from China. Anybody who is moderately intelligent, understands the concept (not you).

And the fact that you assume somebody holding an INCOME-PRODUCING machine today would sell it at the same price as a machine that you have to order and wait for 2 weeks clearly shows you have absolutely no idea of how economics works, which is of course not a surprise given your behavior so far.

Also its not income for two weeks if you overpaid for said miner originally its called recovering your loss for overpaying get it?

Updated price - this is final price before going to ebay. If you are wondering if I can do less than that price, refer to the FAQs in the original post.

We understand you want to make a large profit re selling miners, but you could be more reasonable as these are not rare

You are only low-balling and spamming my topics. I don't mind a healthy discussion on pricing even though most of the people are intelligent enough to have their own views/models on that, but you are just an annoying troll.

So, please be so kind to move away into trolling somewhere else. And for the protocol i'd never deal with you even if i was in a desperate need so engaging me with any communication would be impractical.

How am i lowballing an item that costs $3500 new?? I am definately interested but not paying way over retail

Ok, i think i explained this to you a couple time over PM already but let's go again.

It does NOT cost you $3,500 to get this thing to your door - you pay around $120 shipping, $40 customs and in my case $40 for a wire. So let's put that at $3,700. Now why would I sell it to you for $3,700 when i've gone through all the hassle of ordering, setting up wires, following up with them etc. AND the machine makes $60/day right now? Obviously I have a reason for selling but unless the reason is that I'm desperate for cash today (hint: it's not), I don't see why I would ever consider selling at par value to you. At the same time, I didn't purchase this machine for the purpose of making profit as a reseller and thus I'm not trying to charge eBay type of amounts.

And then moving on to the concept of forward price - if you order from Inno today, for $3,700 all-in, you'd get it BEST CASE in 10 days, more likely a couple weeks. So the price of having that now as opposed to two weeks from now is $3,700 + income for 2 weeks. Even if consider increasing difficulty and not consider we're in a bull market where the price will likely rise, let's say the machine would make an average of $50/day - that means the forward price is $3,700 + 14x $50 = $4,400.

Now take a look at what I'm asking and ask me why it's unreasonable and how your comments that I'm trying to make an insane profit are justified? I am also well aware that people in this forum are well informed and would never (or i guess rarely) pay above market value so I wouldn't bother posting if I wanted to charge astronomical prices.

Aren't they soft-forking the ASICs out of SIA mining?

Not that I'm aware of. There was some talk back when the A3s were announced but it subsided shortly after.

I mean that the difference between my price and Inno's all-in price to get to your door is worth ~10 days of mining at current rates..

I think  you mean 100 days for your ROI.

The one I've listed. It's appx. ~10 days of mining above what you have to pay Innosilicon and if you order now it would certainly take more than that to get it.

Originally this topic was about the sale of a miner but turned into a place where our esteemed friend jrc209 decided to share his wisdom with the masses.

As enlightening as the discussion that ensued is, I would welcome if a moderator deleted this topic and spared us any furhter suffering.
