Glad to hear you are doing ok. :-)

Just a quick update...I am still out of town and have very little net access (let alone cell service) and should be home in another week or so (tops) but wanted to let everyone know I am doing okay and will be getting back to work on my projects asap. Thanks for your continued patience.

I think I'll have some more things to ask you to print for me later.

I should have the case for your XL boards ready in a couple days...I am healing up from a mishap I had with a DPS750 PSU fan, ugh...gashed my thumb pretty good.
The base is pretty much set, just gotta add board securing holes and finish up the lid. For some reason due to the tolerances that these printers print, getting the parts to interface just right is a bit tricky and I am very critical of my own work.

Yeah, sometimes, fans are hungry.
I've got one scythe Ultrakaze that bit hard on one of my fingers too when modding one Gridseed Blade.

As for the DPS 2000 BB and the DPS 1200 FBA, I have them back in stock, so I'll prepare a package for you soon.
I just wanted to add the antminer control board once the first prototype is functionnal. Hopefully, I'll receive the new PCB next week.

Awesome, thanks so much! Yeah I should have your package ready within a couple weeks, I wanna make sure to hook you up with some extras since I will be shipping a package across the pond, haha
I am anxious to see your antminer control board as I've been following the progress as much as I can, very nice bro!

do you have a box for j4bberwocks dps-2000 ??

Very soon...once I finish up the first 2 J4bberwock Mods cases, I will be getting one of his DPS2k's very quickly...I'd say in the next 4 weeks I might have something ready, maybe sooner if I can kick it up a notch but I've a trip scheduled to drive my old VW bus back from the midwest.

ok, then ill like to order 2 when they are done :-p

I don't have the dimensions yet (I will when it arrives), but I think the base of the black cylinders are like 1.5cm and its about 3cm tall. How much would it cost to print one of those black cylinders with a smily face like  " Smiley " on the top of it?

I am sure I could hook you up for ~$15 shipped (or less). Shoot me (or post) specs and lets boogie!

New style (100 Gh/s) R-Box Stacker Clips available for purchase
These slip onto the R-Box miner and can be zip-tied together (or other means of securing)
1 pair of stackers will work for 2 R-Box miners although I recommend 2x stacker sets so the bottom R-Box has better airflow.

Not a problem I know how busy you are.  I am glad it is all coming together for you.  You do great work.
My BA Breakout Board cover saved me a shock a couple days ago.  I stumbled at my bench and my hand went right on the board.  If the case had not been there I would have had a nasty shock that would have been worse because of my spinal cord stimulator implant. I am glad you make these things.

I will be updating my thread today (finally) but also wanted to post a quick update.

Currently I have 3 PSU breakout boards to design cases for...first up is the 2x J4bberwock Mods boards then onto the DPS750 board I recently got on a trade  Grin
Also catching up on some print orders over the next couple days while developing the cases.

I will be answering PMs this afternoon. Apologies for the wait.

Thanks all!

Can you prints me a lady robot?  If so what is cost and is it monthlys or lifetime? Is satisfaction guaranteed with my robot?

Hmmm, not sure how serious you are being but if you have a source for the .stl files to print, I might could help you out.
Aside from firearms, I can legally print most any object if the price is right  Wink

Just got home last night and will be updating my threads soon.

So, finally have a moment to post this.  I got my shipment of breakout board bases recently and have put a couple of these into use so far.  They're very useful, and I am happy to have them.  First off, a finished pic:

There's 2 little critiques of the board holders that I would like to point out - one I think should be able to be fixed easy, the other I'm not sure.

First the easy one.  One of the posts needs to be taken down a little bit.  With the way the solder is done on the breakout board, there's some excess on all my boards, which is causing some bowing of the holder.  It's a little hard to see, but the post in the center of the pic needs to be trimmed (or removed completely) and then the holder sits flush and properly:

The second issue is also solder related.  This one is when trying to slide the breakout board into the holder, the pins for the front breakout row can't get past the corner plastic as shown in the pic.  Now, this is a location for a screw, so I'm not sure if this can be easily rectified, other than clipping the pins/solder on the board itself to make it able to pass:

These issues can be worked around by trying to get the board in from the top instead of trying to slide it in.  However, you just have to be real careful when bending the case to allow the board to sit properly in there, as I've already cracked a few of them by bending too hard (but it still works fine, and dare I say better after cracking it... Smiley  )

My recommendation would be to raise the little "guide" tabs so there's more room to work with when sliding in the board.  Since the board screws in you could probably even remove that feature and allow the board to be inserted from the top without those little tabs, as the screws will hold it in fine and they'd no longer be needed.

Hope this helps, I don't mean to bash them, I really do like them and when I get my next batch of boards I'll be ordering more.

Dude, your feedback is very important to me and thanks for taking the time to post. The base is design to "snap" the board in place rather than slide. First locate the end of the board under the 2 tabs and gently snap the board into place...slight flexing on the PSU mounting ears may be needed. Apologies for not explaning that...I really need to start making videos of how to properly install all my products.

I am sure there is just a bit of variance between the board I used to model and those that you have but making the necc. changes should be a cinch. I will post back up asap.

Thanks so very much bro!

I have a PI case and a yoda head, they are really cool  Cool

Heya bro! My R-Pi cases have really come along ways since that version. Next time you're in Portland area hit me up and I will give ya some more 3d printed swag! I moved across town so I am not at the same place.
How's your mine doing these days?

Thanks for the bump!

I just finished taking pics of the R-Pi A/B "Cool Topper" cases (fan mount). They will work with units using heat sinks too! Also, you can swap the fan position if you need the fan to exhaust instead of intake. I've also added some wire guide/keepers to help with airflow since the fan wires are so long (need new solder gun tips!)

Prices have been updated as well

Hoping have the R-Pi fan lid ready by morning...I am test printing another revision now.
Fortunately, I was supplied with an R-Pi with heat sinks installed by an outstanding member here on the forums which has helped a ton in developing this fan case design...without the heat sinks, my previous revision would not have closed properly on an R-Pi with heat sinks.

I hope you feel better soon.
I know how it is to feel rotten.
Take care and rest up.

Nice, remember to let me know when you are set with it.

Hi, I hope all is well.  Any news on the RPi case with the fan?
I am looking forward to them.

Just got my fan yesterday but I may have purchased too small of a fan...this thing measures 17mm x 17mm x 8mm but spins @11k rpm, so maybe it will suffice. I went with a fan that was readily available and fairly low price but also had good reviews for reliability etc.

I will be posting some pics up tonight/tomorrow after I test the fan some.

RPi is a fanless device, why would you need a fan for Raspberry Pi?

A custom request was made for an R-Pi case with a fan mount so I stepped up and sourced parts to design a case for such need.

Lat of the supplies needed arrive today. I am aiming to keep the price as low as possible.
Going to be a busy day but I should have this and a couple other projects wrapped up by this afternoon.
I have not been feeling so great these past couple weeks and have been struggling to identify what is causing the issues.

How about a protective case for a Neptune controller?

Yes but I would need a Neptune controller to work with for getting the fitment right. If you, or anyone has one spare/extra laying around and would be willing to ship my way, I'd be happy to design the enclosure and supply a couple/few to the person who lent me the controller. I am working on a deal like that with another BCT member for sidehacks dps2k board.

Thanks for the inquiry mate.

Very cool.
How is the final placement going to go?
It looks like a great setup for the BTC Gardens.  GPIO was something I have been thinking of I had not decided yet.  Very interested in how it goes with your setup.

Very cool.
I have a Pi B+ that is being sent to me this week.  I am excited you have all the case sets I need.

Stoked!!!

I will be posting info and pics for the R-Pi B+ cases tonight! Finally ready for production.

Taking pics with my crappy cam and posting soon...was a late night in the garage.

Just placed an order for the last part needed for my R-Pi fan case....I cannot sell the cases without testing them myself!

Parts list:
Adafruit Micro Lipo-USB LiIon/LiPoly charger
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1304

Evercool EC1708M05C fan
http://www.evercool.com.tw/categories/global/fan/dcfan/ec-1708/ec1708.html

Code:
EC1708M05C model
5 volts
0.08 amps
0.4 watts
11000 rpm
0.6 cfm
0.1 press. ("/h2o)
<15 dBA

The Adafruit charger will be for use with units currently using the GPIO (BTCGarden miners etc)...otherwise I am going to use Male to Female jumper wires (http://www.adafruit.com/products/824) and wire the fan directly to the R-Pi GPIO. If anyone can source/make USB A male to JST female cables that would be sweet and the preferred route over the Adafruit charger.

Just placed an order for the last part needed for my R-Pi fan case....I cannot sell the cases without testing them myself!

Parts list:
Adafruit Micro Lipo-USB LiIon/LiPoly charger
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1304

Evercool EC1708M05C fan
http://www.evercool.com.tw/categories/global/fan/dcfan/ec-1708/ec1708.html

Code:
EC1708M05C model
5 volts
0.08 amps
0.4 watts
11000 rpm
0.6 cfm
0.1 press. ("/h2o)
<15 dBA

The Adafruit charger will be for use with units currently using the GPIO (BTCGarden miners etc)...otherwise I am going to use Male to Female jumper wires (http://www.adafruit.com/products/824) and wire the fan directly to the R-Pi GPIO. If anyone can source/make USB A male to JST female cables that would be sweet and the preferred route over the Adafruit charger.

Thanks bro! I've been scrambling to stay on top of things...with my recent move, I am further behind than usual, hehe

Working on getting my new (non-branded) R-Pi A/B model lids printed and product pics posted. I had to change my miners around a bit today...finally got my new Black Widow up and running, thanks to Multi-Miner! hehee

It's been a crazy, rough week I tell ya!

Almost done with the R-Pi B+ case, woot!

Oh and my latest R-Pi cases have mounting holes so you can screw/zip tie them to just about any surface.

I am totally down for designing the cases/enclosures/holders for the Bitmaintech PSU switches, much better pricing than the Add2PSU or DualPSU adapters available now.

Replying to PMs shortly.

I use the black version of this rack.
I would love some way to mount all the RPIs I have on it.
Great idea Phil for the Bitmain unit as well.  Smiley

Comcast should have to pay you back for those three days.
Did the move go well?

Finishing up another big order and also moving across town this week!
Test printing some new designs today and should have some pics/info posted by Saturday.

Or not. Lost 3 days of mining due a Comcast goof. Playing catchup now  Tongue

Cool deal.
Thanks for the work on this and all your printing I appreciate it.
