Hello Kazkaz27,

Interestingly enough, I also have an inclination to silver and gold knives.....

Thank you, Eclipse33.

It's nice to see others on the forum have similar inclinations as I do regarding silver and gold knives.

I've been on the hunt for some items that I know you are aware of. I am keeping an open mind about what I'd possibly trade these knives for. If you have anything you want to offer as a trade let me know  Grin

Hello Kazkaz27,

Interestingly enough, I also have an inclination to silver and gold knives.

I have two silver knives that I collected over the past year. I use one of them daily!

I have been searching for a gold hilted knife for sometime now on eBay and other antique websites.

Kaz is correct in that these knives are challenging to find and they do command a nice premium.

I would be more than willing to broker a deal with Kaz for some of my physical bitcoin to aquire a gold knife from his collection.

This would be a really awsome trade on the fourm.

I have included pictures of a really cool knife in my collection, the hilt is thick sterling silver with a folding dagger and lots of removable multi tools.

Is there a site or way to evaluate these items?
While I could DYOR, it may make it easier to sell these with more information about them.

Thanks Cheesy

These items are truly one of a kind and range from 50-100 years old (I have others that are even older). You wont find these anywhere. But sometimes you can find newer gold and silver knives in jewelry stores and they sell for thousands of dollars. You may find gold and silver knifes on eBay as well but they do not compare to these at all due to condition, craftsmanship, quality, design, brand, and various features. If you wanted to know the value of them I guess it would be how much it would cost to make them today. how much could each one be made for? (materials, time, plus labor)

The silver Knife I posted I would appraise it at $300-500 due to its condition and design (Voos Knifes similar to this in poor conidtion sell for $100-200)

The 14k Knife I would appraise it at approximately $1,000-1,500 due to its condition, design, brand, and because it is made exceptionally well from Italy. (This knife is the definition of quality)

The 10k Knife is the crown jewel here, I've collected these knifes for years. I once had a collection of 100 gold and silver knifes at one point. I have never seen a more elegant knife in my life. Really it's a priceless work of art. It is hard to appraise it. (This knife is a masterpiece)

Obviously, the gold or silver weight in these items isn't going to equate to the worth of these items themselves. The gold or silver weight in them is only a part of the value in these items much like an unloaded gold or silver physical bitcoins.

A decent generic/regular knife like a Kershaw is $100 bucks. A nice quality knife like Benchmade is usually at minimum of $300 + and can go even higher.

These knifes I am offering are luxury items.

I am open to peoples offers for them and I am willing to negotiate a fair amount on them if someone offers me an item that I am truly interested in.
I don't want my appraisals to scare anyone's offers away. If you have something and are interested let me know Grin

Yes, that's fine. They are gold and silver but they also have other metal components /materials inlayed.  Grin

Hey, guys, I have some items I'd like to trade for some physical bitcoins. If anyone has some stuff to trade let me know. I'm interested in all sorts of stuff but preferably I'd like to trade what I have for highly graded physical bitcoins.

- Vintage 10k gold pocket knife that duels as a cigar cutter made by Miller Bros.

- Vintage 14k gold pocket knife made by Latama Italy

All of these elegant and luxury knives are vintage one of a kind pieces in excellent shape.

I have a collection of 10 knifes like this.

Anyone with interest, let me know 🍻
