I have seen people "farm" negative trust apparently
Are you trolling here? How do you apparently see something, did you mean something else?

I guess its just a competition to collect the most negative trust.  It's kind of like having a weird collection but it's digital instead of physical.

What's the record for the most amount of negative trust?
The limit is -9999. Vod had a list of that somewhere, I think only a few users (3 I think) were so 'lucky' to collect that much.

QuickSeller was on that for a while, he seems to go up and down here.

I've seen a weird group of people collecting VAC bans on Steam (ban for cheating in games), and there was more than 1k users in that group, sharing methods of cheating to get caught and get a ban.
I guess that's more a protest and that's probably what it would be here.
There have been users that want to cause contraversial discussion on here and if they already have the most negativ trust they can get, then any more negatives don't have much of an impact on them and it gives them something to pick up on. If a DT member gives you a negative trust for something that is unreasonable, it produces some discussion for those people and gives them the attention on the forum that they are seeking.

No im not trolling, i saw the term being used but wasnt so sure so i put apparently there
Ah yes, that makes sense.

Can someone explain me why anyone would want negative trust at all? I have seen people "farm" negative trust apparently

Speaking of negative trust, you have to remove/change your signature, coz begging for merit is not tolerated here and you gonna get tagged sooner or later.
So friendly advice, just take it away asap.

It was just a joke but ok Tongue

Yeah. Op you need to learn that you can't make jokes here without people thinking you're generally serious Smiley.
I'd have kept it as is. I doubt anyone would give you negative trust for such a ridiculous action (though I do get surprised as to what people actually mark and don't mark).

I am a negative trust farmer, so what? Wink

forum admins, create their own enemies by not forgiving removing negative, trusts, they then will get an opposition that deliberately farms negative trusts and uses it as a form of medal of honor against the dictatorial bitcoin cheerleading admins and mods,

some mods and admins also are angering me (like yxt, look in my negative trust why he gave me negative trust) and i am considering it useless to have positive trust, and with lots of negative trust farming i would show opposition against their blackdrawing demonisation system.

I have come to the conclusion that Bitcointalk admins are Russian operatives and are acting as a sleeper cell inside the united states, a global moderator of this forum is also a Russian crook. however their objective is to fight against centralization of money which I am in support of it. therefore I would stand by them.

hmm interesting idea forum admin are a russian conpiracy...

I've never seen someone collecting negative trusts, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. And the above is most likely the reason.

I've seen a weird group of people collecting VAC bans on Steam (ban for cheating in games), and there was more than 1k users in that group, sharing methods of cheating to get caught and get a ban.

negative trust doesnt necessarily mean that a person is evil or not trustworthy, its simply that the person is not trusted by the forums board and administrators,

having a lot of negative trust instead of a bit, will make someone look like a freedom fighter, i mean you have to understand the established banking cartels also would give the cryptoindustry and this forum endless amount of negative trust.
