You really should post some sources for these claims. Can't really refute or corroborate them based on opinion alone.

Why would someone programming an FPGA for this put stuff on Google? And private pools would just set their robots.txt so they don't get scraped by GoogleBot.

I'm confused as to why you think you'd find any evidence in a search.

So I have been digging around a little bit and there seems to be a lot of suggestions that x11 is not being fairly mined. I have read that you can mine x11 on FPGAs yet none are commercially available? I have also read that optimized secret mining software exists? There's more about private pools and so on. Five minutes on Google and you would be able to find this stuff scattered around. 

I have no evidence of any of this but would be interested to hear your thoughts as to whether these claims have any legitimacy.
