I guess by doing this, they making it more difficult for people to access apps like this directly from Google Play and most people will be either too lazy or intellectually challenged

to download it from the alternative download source. They can sandbox unfavorable apps in this way, and slow it's distribution and give some other apps a unfair advantage, by

giving them premium access on their default location.  Roll Eyes

general advice:
try to avoid searching google play for apps.
there are a few phishing attempts where scammers pretend to be a company (slight miss-spelled name)..

its always best to look at the company site first and get a direct link. even if the link is to their googleplay page atleast it takes you straight to the correct app

maybe they removed their own apps ? did you ask them that ?
WTF is a Xapo app anyway ?
Is is like LuckyPatcher ?

If you read a couple of posts above you, you can see that they have set up a download site of their own to distribute their apps.

So they didn't remove their own apps and somehow probably broke google rules.

Negative rating was requested by me (SFR10)
Two things could have possible happened here, either they have been put a limit on some countries to be shown, each app can be (you can try to google the app name and if shown and when you click using your browser, it says the app is not available for your country) so you could only bypass it by closing Google Play completely and clearing it's cache and then try to use a VPN to trick that your location is different and retry opening Google Play and searching those apps again and they most probably show this time or they were deleted due to breaking the rules as aubert mentioned above me in which lately many Bitcoin related apps have been deleted on Google Play.

Yea I noticed that too. They have their own appstore now where you can download their bitcoin apps. Maybe because their apps have a purchase option which is I think against google play tos.

Took me awhile to figure this out too, I contacted support and they were very responsive and directed me to their website where you can download directly.

You have to make sure the option to download from unknown sources is checked on your android though or it will not work.

I love these apps - great developers, I use them whenever I am in traffic, on the bus, taking a walk, or just plain bored.

Except their wallet app, all apps they developed have dissappeared.

Does anyone know why?..
