It is recommended to place your bet as soon as possible to allow the system to match your bet, especially when it involves a direct BTC bet.
In an event where a bet is not matched on the blockchain (whether if it is because it was placed too late or for any other reason) the system considers it to be cancelled, whether it is a losing or a winning bet and as such we do not take a fee for a cancelled bet.

We have reviewed your BTC bet and at first look it appears that the bets you have placed were too close to the deadline of the bet and therefore were not placed.

Since no bet was made on the blockchain the system should refund you. At the moment some of the funds that should be refunded are flagged for manual review, as in this case. After looking into the details of that bet we will send you your funds to your payout address.

Regarding the use of XCP in your Bitcoin wallet, there is an excellent video guide for importing funds ("sweeping" as it is referred to in Counterwallet) from Blockchain.info wallet to Counterwallet where it can be used to make safe bets without depositing.

currently it is impossible to know which bet is what unless you take note on paper/seperate log file.

It will be impossible to get any user base with this kind of usability issues.

It i most basic that i want to be able to make a bet and then see what bets i have made. there is no use having 10 bets that say home and away.

So, you only decide the winner of the better (Home/Away) thus there is only the possibility to screw over one side of any given bet (and reward the other side.

Hopefully this will help drive the price of XCP and BTC although there is already other BTC only betting sites which people seem more comfortable with.

Xbet.io does not hold your money. They only broadcast results and the counterparty protocol will escrow the money. The only bad thing they can do is to broadcast incorrect result where they bet against, resulting in being out of business after that.

You bet against other betters, for example, you chose to bet for a Brazil win against Croatia, you chose a "back" bet with the odds you want. You funds (in XCP) will be escrowed at that point (by the counterparty network, inside the BTC blockchain, and NOT by xbet. This is the true novelty here)
From that point on, you will have to wait for someone to place a "lay" bet (meaning, Brazil WILL NOT win) that matches (or surpass?) the odds of your bet.

Bets will be matched by the counterparty network and you will then have to wait for xbet.io to publish the result (the feed) after the match

No "pot" is made and if no one matches you bet, your XCP are released from escrowed and you receive them back.

About the 1%, is it taken at the betting moment or at the bet is resolved ? What happen if a bet is not matched, or partially ?

I've tried the XBet service with Counterwallet. From my understanding, they charge a 1% fee for the game as the bet issuer. Odd could be determined by anyone as long as someone is willing to fill the order on the network. what i think of is an orderbook for bet.

I understand this service is a centralized publisher of the bet feeds/winners so other bettors involved do not need to do that extra work in determining who gets the money. Presumably operators of xbet.io make the feed determinations and place some bets to add liquidity to the betting market.

My question is how variable is the fee you charge for providing that necessary centralized results publishing service? Looking at your site I don't see any fees listed for the various betting feeds you govern and it actually ignores that aspect apparently.
I'm just trying to get a rough % for how this compares to the other centralized bet winner choosing services. Or should we just ignore that and pretend it doesn't exist?
