Teka, I pm'd you earlier telling of my woes getting an attachment uploaded.  I sidestepped the probs by spinning up a website a few mins ago and posting it there, then linking.

Like a lot of others, I stuck with the xc coalescing - mainly in the interest of saving logo real estate, and because the sizzle will be in the steak - how the logo is put to use.

The logo was modeled in lightwave 3d 11.6, and the frame rendered in 720p then exported to jpg.  This is meant to be a part of a larger animated 3d project, and so is just an exported keyframe.  The logo is full 3d flattened to 2d for now.
The XC label itself is transparent, and reveals whatever bg is behind, in this example black.  This can be easily changed, as can the logo colour.  Also, the camera angle and lighting are infinitely adjustable - I positioned them to make the logo larger than life, but it could use some tweaking.  At present I'm using the default 24mm wide angle lens and default light.  When it is animated, it has been surfaced so the facets catch and reflect the light and surroundings as it spins, or whatever it ends up doing.

I was trying to capture the essence of XC using a tesselated sphere, the segments or facets representing nodes or, in this case, xnodes.  I have other variations of this that have more pronounced extruded and/or beveled segments that resemble a tortoise shell, and even some moire-effect bevels, but thought it best to start with the simplest one.  The sphere itself can also be smoothed, easily, so as to be a perfect sphere with only overlayed segmentation lines.

This one looks good.  It scales good so the small icon on CMC is still clear.  You get the XC out of it but it also could represent the "mixing" of the coins.  Coins crossing paths as they flow through the network.





I think this one just might be my new favorite. I like the design and the color scheme.  I think the name has been changed to just XC.  Might reword the text to something like "XC For Privacy" or "Your Privacy Coin"

Here's my shot at it. Wanted to have the logo be simple and liked the idea of having the XC as part of same original shape.

Open to ideas to improve it. The burnt orange is inspired by the one form on their main page and also liked the blue look.

Another modif

Here is mine. The logo is supposed to represent the head of a key implying security, the gold implying it is the "gold standard" of anonymous cryptocurrency and also gives a feeling of trust and luxury. The font is Eurostile which I feel is classy but also has a bit of techiness to it which fits well with the concept. Also the X can in theory represent the way nodes communicate back and forth to deliver encrypted data between machines.

Here is 3 different versions, not sure which one I like best, but I think the XC shape fits well alone inside a define square/circle area which would work on coinmarketcap.

Love this one.

Dear 7vpo,
Not copied their logo, the concept is different.
The logic for using a logo as symbols XC, is joining the letters.
And the use of $, is obvious even on a logo of a coin.
We are in a competition, as well as altcoins.

The concept of the logo is about crypto being passed through a layer and getting divised at the end.

The Right one would be my choice, little more metallic maybe , so it reminds ppl of a (real) solid coin

I like this design the best so far. But the red and black from the current design integrated in this would make it even better.

What would it look like in red? I like that it is simple like Bitcoin, and subconsciously, it reminds me of money symbols, dollars, cents, profit.

Here's my submission- an entire logo system!
The point is they all look like they belong to the same family.

Little less wrenchy and hockysticky and tried some lighter colors.

I like the look of this one.  The double lines at the top and bottom fit the original X11 name but also looks like the vertical line in the dollar sign ($).  Dollar signs are sometimes wrote with 2 lines instead of 1.  Personally I use 2 so I like that look more.

Possible suggestions:

Make the C a different color.  That will still give you the X but now you see the C too.
IDK if I like the slight rotation.
Make a list of examples with some different color combinations.  Do some black and gold or black and red combos.  Maybe a dark charcoal instead of black too.
Make a couple examples without the actual round coin part.  just the inner XC logo.
If you keep the circle give it an outer ring.
