CryoNote uses a custom difficulty algorithm (as seen above) which allows for protection against hash attacks, botnet attacks etc... This also allows for household/hobbyist miners to put that old once expensive mining hardware to use and make a buck. CryoNote strives for speed and anonymity throughout it's blockchain. CryoNote is still in it's very early development stages, and we are continuing to improve it as time moves on...
Where can i view your white-paper?Since CryoNote is a direct fork from the CryptoNote implementation, we felt it was unnecessary at this time. However you can view the original CryptoNote white-paper for more info on how CryoNote works. (See below)
