On Bter, you can only see the month old price..... you cant trade, deposit or withdraw.  Crypty has not update their wallet since Sept.  You can trade there, but not deposit or withdraw.

Someone probably see a lot of potential.

What just happened on Poloniex ?

I'm glad it worked out for you. You should probably position some buy walls, to get a chunk from the Bter dumpsters. (If you want more XCR, and if there even are dumpsters)

DPoS

Currently we are in public testing of the DPoS (v0.2.0) release. You can all test it if you are interested. Here you find all necessary information needed to test it.

Custom Blockchains / Virtual Machines

Work on these two features already begun. We can't release much on this, as we are still sorting some things out. We really hope we can make the deadline.

Inter-chain operations

This will allow similar functionalities like superNET will. So mainly the possibility to exchange information between the different custom blockchains, to use them for something new. As you see, we will start work on this in May. So there is nothing set in stone yet. It might change quite a lot.

Crypti Lite

Crypti Lite is a light version of the newest client. It connects to a peer, so it's not necessary to host the blockchain on your PC. This will keep the required space very small, like 100MB. This will give us a much better user experience, as nobody will have to download the blockchain anymore. They just download Crypti Lite and are set. It's finished and being tested right now. There is no pressure here, as it can only released after Crypti runs on DPoS. Important note: Everything is done locally and only the hashes are pushed onto the blockchain. So it's as secure as the normal Crypti client to use. Your passPhrase will not be uploaded to the net.

New UX / UI

We just found a designer, who will redesign the wallet for our needs. We will push an update about the design in about 1 month.

App Market

As you know we will have custom blockchains, these will allow to create your own decentralized applications (DApps) on top of Crypti. You find all these DApps created by various developers on the "DApp Store".

Visual Designer

To make the development as easy as possible for new developers, we want to give them a few tools to develop for Crypti. One of these is the Visual Designer, so they can develop new applications very easily. It's a mix between traditional and "point&click" coding.




Please remember, that there can always be stepping stones in the middle of the development, which might extent the time we need. Also all things might change quite a bit in the finished product. So don't take the roadmap as a set-in-stone paradigma. It's a direction.

here is the roadmap. It got very late here in Germany, so a few parts are still empty. I'm very busy right now with various things (Crypti and Personal). So I will write a fully fledged post tomorrow and will update some parts of the road map as well.

I just didn't want to pass the date, I promised yesterday.

Important: I only filled in everything related until July. After that day we will of course continue making Crypti better and better!

Also we came to the conclusion internally, that we don't want to give Bitshares 10% of all Crypti just for a few marketing purposes. Then we would be a pump&dump currency.

But we are more than that, sometimes we take different approaches then other currencies did. We hope to achieve something bigger than most other coins that way.

Currently it wouldn't even be possible to get 10% of all XCR together, since they are distributed to quite a few guys.

No, we don't use bitshares toolkit.

We have not logged UPTIME for the nodes.  We tried the Proof Of Time, and it was not scaleable for a one minute block time.  The forging now is random.  I have the blockchain up on one monitor all the time, and I can see that often one node will forge several blocks in a row.

The testnet CryptiLite version shows a percentage for uptime for the delegates on the node. 

Also, the delegates can have a "Friendly Name" instead of just an account code.  You can upvote "SMARAGDA" and downvote "STARIK69".

BTW, Starik, I am not a coder, but I have been into computer since 1977.  Cut my teeth on IBM mainframes at the University Computer Lab, using a dumb terminal interfaced thru a channel to a four queue mainframe running at 128K with 1K RAM.  I did learn FORTRAN, but found construction better paying and the air was smoke free.  I do read the internal conversations here on testing and development, so I do know what is going on. 

If it is not random then it can be calculated beforehand.
Keeping blockchain updated and processing transactions into forged block are very different tasks.
