Hey guys I'm sure that the Devs probably have a few guides ready to post when they are ready to launch... However just incase there guides don't cover setting up a Crypti forging node on a AWS... I will post a guide soon...

Efforts like this by community members is very important to a new coin. I would like to see people with experience and expertiste contribute more things of value to Crypti other than talking about price and value of Crypti itself.

There is always a reason to trade like that.

I actually sold the 600 odd coins there because even though I was getting less btc (10%) when I bought Qora I got it 20% under the normal price so I still made money. Now this was very time sensitive which is why I sold into the buy wall.

If you presume you make a ass out of you and me as they say.

That is supposed to be "ASSUME"  makes an ASS out of U and ME.

Besides, I never assumed anything, merely pointing out a bad trade when better is available.

Here is an example of "How not to trade"

From Bter just now

    Time               Type     Price(BTC)           Amount(XCR)

    08-18 05:25:28  Sell    0.00001604        623.4410.01000
    08-18 05:02:39  Buy    0.00001796     30263.4640.54353
    08-18 05:02:39  Buy    0.00001795      11976.0000.21497
    08-18 05:02:39  Buy    0.00001794       7428.5220.13327
    08-18 05:02:39  Buy    0.00001790         200.0000.00358
    08-18 05:02:39  Buy    0.00001788      30000.0000.53640

Notice that someone dumped 623 XCR for 1604 sats each, when there is buying at 1796.  He could have placed his XCR for sale at 1795 or whatever the lowest sell price is at the moment and made more money(about 115000 sats more).

Will Crypti ever have a built in exchange or will it only be traded on third party exchanges?

it's a bit premature to discuss having their own exchange. Were trying to get the launch to be successful and get on some other exchanges..

Right its not beyond limitations... but focus is just on other matters atm... but I do see where your thoughts are with all that has happened with crypto exchanges in general...

My thinking is after BTER being hacked it will have the highest security in the industry. Just look what happened with dgex.
Mintpal was hacked too.

you are new in crypto right?

you really wouldnt want Cryptsy and Polo over MP and Bittrex - those who have been on crypto earlier this year will probably agree

Polo was hacked, although did pay back people over time. And I'm not aware of Cryptsy ever being hacked, although they have hardly been problem free.

I was thinking of what would benefit the coin more in regard to slow growth when I mentioned poloniex. There is no guarantee any specific exchange will be more secure than another... although due to the fact bter just had its issues, of course it'd be wise to get on another exchange as soon as possible.

I want to buy some Crypti, but I don't want to use BTER. Waiting Crypti on another exchanges (Bittrex, Mintpal).

Why would you trust Mintpal over BTER? Remember Mintpal was hacked and 30% of all the Vericoin was stolen.

I'm not sure I'd trust MP over BTER necessarily, but with that moolah purchase I'd trust them a bit more. I really doubt moolah would want to kill their own purchase with lax security.

My preference is sort of leaning towards Poloniex or Cryptsy over MP/Bittrex right now. I'd rather the coin built up slowly, so Polo could make some sense. Bittrex tends to be too pump/dumpy for my tastes (although of course it occurs on all exchanges).

Does anyone know what happened to the Syscoin launch? I'm hearing there is a lot of drama going on but I missed the developments apparently.

Looking thru the blog posts, this is what I have found out.  If any of our blog readers are Syscoin investors, please correct me.

It seems that Syscoin had an IPO and collected 250 BTC.  The devs promised to set the BTC as a SELL WALL on an exchange, so it the price ever fell to the IPO price of around 500 satoshi, the original investors could sell and get their BTC back.

Apparently, the devs have absconded with the BTC and are not answering email or blog posts.

"I'm shocked, I tell you........ Shocked! !!"

Nice blatant lying...

First of all the IPO collected 1500 btc in total.

Things did not work as expected at launch so people were upset.

Moolah attempted to hand over 250 btc of the escrowed funds to the devs.

The devs returned the 250 btc because they knew people were not satisfied with the launch yet.

So no, the devs have not absconded with any BTC- quite the opposite- and they are responding and working on the issues..

Fantastic.... someone that knows what is going on there.  please keep us updated.

Now there is official news from BTER that they got everything back -8 million.

So why our BTC are still locked?

Nothing is locked I can withdraw/deposit?

Are you spreading FUD for cheap coins or do you have a real issue?

Am I the only one who can withdraw/deposit? are others having this issue?

Edit: If you are having issue please show us a screenshoot.. blackout important info... please
