there is nothing to be mined, it was almost all mined in the first year for comparison Monero emission is 2x slower than Bytecoin that is 2x slower than Digitalducknotedark.

I don't have the specifics, a monero dev told me on irc, they are pretty smart cookies and are on cryptonote for a while, you could ask them if you want more details.
