And here we go! It's June already and there's even no promised 'working coin', still. You people are so naive. I will run my own scam someday that is gonna be the biggest on this board...

Shut up, troll.

100% SCAM, absolutely no doubt about it. Lannister account is bought, the code is a copy-paste of shitcoin. Dead.

 Which coin? +1

I have just marked your account with a big red "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!". I am willing to remove your feedback if you stop with your false scam accusations.

quite naturally i looked up the elastic.pro whois and found one 'Lionel Key'. who is he?

It's probably just a pseudonym.

possibly. i just find the secrecy so tedious, and harmful to the project. why the need to hide?

if i don't know who's running the project i can't evaluate their potential to get things right. people take 'crypto' too far.

Long drawn out ICO, dev is anonymous with bought account, does not allow "donations" from USA or Canada... this smells fishy.  Undecided

Also, the dev claims that, I quote:

>https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14526431 (mirror)
>No membership or registration is required. Your XEL are simply credited to the public key of the first input in your bitcoin transaction. If you do not understand the instructions on the website entirely, you might want to wait for the howto videos.

But the coin is not build on the top of bitcoin.

Later the other dev (EK) explains the redemption process:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14526549 (https://archive.is/wGUOL#selection-1673.0-1682.1)
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14526785 (https://archive.is/wGUOL#selection-2645.0-2649.89)

Which is meaningless and actually cannot be done.

Just because you can't do it doesn't automatically mean that it can't be done in general, you idiot.
Actually, all you need to prove the ownership of a public key is to sign a message with the matching private key. Such signature check can be implemented in bitcoin, in litecoin, in any other coin and even in your toaster you pongid. If you don't know what you're talking about, then just shut the fuck up. You keep making a fool of yourself, and the world is watching amused. I have seen many trolls here, but you for sure are the stupidest.
Why are so hysterical? Can't you express your thoughts without insults?
Maybe I wrong about it, I not 100% sure. But the other facts are obviously pointing on a scam.

READ FIRST: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-alert-elastic-project-the-decentralized-supercomputer-1426466

I created the thread because the dev is censoring every message he doesn't like.

TLDR: Lannister is a bought account from an asian kid, self-mod topic to censor any 'unwanted' posts, no demo/working prototype and less than 1.5 months until the release, no funds/team to build the project, the repo is a just Novacoin fork (later the dev forked Cryptonite) that has NOTHING to do with the decentralized supercomputer, no escrow or miltisig wallet with trusted partners.
