I have been looking around for the answer on why I should disable my crossfire while mining. I am running this setup:
Intel i7-4770k
ASUS Sabertooth Z87
2x XFX Radeon HD 280x Double D
16GB G.Skill Vengence RAM
With Crossfire on, I get ~ 705Kh/s per card. With it disabled, I get the same. Temperatures are the same, and the GPU usage is 99% on each one. See images below:

Here is my BAT I'm running:
setx ALLOC_PERCENT=100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o ***(Stratum and user/pass info here)*** -I 13 --lookup-gap 2 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192
Both cards are running at these settings:
Core clock: 1020MHz
Mem clock: 1500MHz
Voltage : 1.106v
Fan at 100%
*Note* One card runs about 10 degrees warmer than the other. Throughout the day one card will be between 74-76 and the other will be 65-68. I swapped the card's in their PCIe slots and the warmer one is always warmer. I think it has a thermal paste issue, but does anyone else have any other ideas?
