2 Vegas will be better than 13 550. You'll save the risers and have space for future expansion.
13x 550 will hash more but it will be hard to setup.
Another thing is 13 gpus is Linux and you must be in windows 10 to get better performance in crypto night.
So, get 2 Vegas and later add some 550 if u like.

Thanks for your feedback- I truly appreciate it. The reason I compared the two is the ticket price in sunny South Africa is exactly the same.
To state this highlights the cost of cards here. I’m also seriously considering building a 13 gpu rx550 rig that isn’t focused on Ethereum as I can get 3 to 4 for the price of a rx 570. That rig would cost me about the same as two vega’s and significantly more hashing power based on my calcs.

For me i choose if what is cheaper for both of them but mostly the cheaper card is rx 580 than vega 56
Price will be always matters But for daily profitability 2 rx 580 if you mine ethereum will be higher than vega 56.
I suggest your to choose rx 580 because this is mostly used for mining ethereum..

The two cards are ok for me vegas are very good on Cryptonight and has a lower power of course compared with the 2 RX, however if you are for Ethash algo then choose the 580's aside from bios modding friendly compared to vegas.
