It's a litecoin clone that brings nothing new to the table and it's very unprofitable to mine compared to many other scrypt coins.
You've pretty much summed it all up.

So it is more profitable than other coins? Or is there another reason?At the very least it is not a pump and dump coin.
It has a developer who has long term plans for the coin. Even plans for the coin to be directly traded with USD, if I am correct in 2015.

I'd like to start a discussion of Xivra, a newish coin that was birthed in Dec 2013. There has been no hype about this coin, as far as I can see, but the developers have some different ideas and some kind of plan going forward.
