I passed KYC more than two weeks ago and got no XLM. Is this airdrop real at all?

XLM airdrop is no joke. many of my friends get XLM worth $ 25. but yes it requires KYC, it aims to prevent multiple accounts from 1 person, and create an airdrop that is fair to everyone.

Stellar seemed to me as a nice project with a good future. But now I saw that ridiculous airdrop with video KYC Grin
For me it discredits the project and from side seems funny.
what is your opinion?

I had tried this but when I got to know that I had to pass KYC I gave it up. $25 is too little to worry about! I think it's easier to earn it somewhere else and don't give your docs to anybody!
Good choice but there are still some dumb people who would really still jump in with this Airdrop even it do ask out some video KYC which is ridiculous.
I don't know why they do reach out to this extent where even claiming some few dollars would ask out identification. Something doesnt really right at all.
$25 wont really be worthy for our identity even on higher amounts.

Blockchain.com website is too big to mke jokes , The airdrop is not big i think around 10$ and you need to finish KYC to be eligible to receive that , I didn't fill that KYC for the airdrop , I usually don't participate in airdrops , usually they are the reasons of dumps!

that is definetly not the thing that Satoshi wanted from blockchain.
Centralized wallets with KYC verification, lmao. what is next? to prove transaction via SMS notification?

Lol, you are right. I think after that we're going to a future where we need sms approval for transactions. That's why i am totally against KYC. It doesn't match the crypto's decentralized spirit.

Video KYC for $25?
Its really joke  Grin

What are you talking about? There's the usual KYC, a passport photo and selfie holding a passport in hand.

Not. Now its VIDEO kyc!
Hmm, I managed to go through the usual KYC, maybe the scammers found a way to get verified, bought documents and selfies.

I don't really think there are people who will give you the kimlk information for $ 25, so maybe that's why the kyc is being forced.  Huh

video kyc is still the same as photo kyc  . you still need to hold your own i.d to ensure that you are a real person with real  identitiy .

Xlm airdrop isnt also a joke because it is sponsored by the famous blockchain wallet  .  the reason why they are doing it is because they want to include stellar on their supported currencies .

What seems fishy is that some particpants didnt manage to recieve their reward after they have done the task succesfully .

Video kyc for $25 drop it's humiliating i think.
Fuck stellar and blockchain for it.

As far as i am concerned. The airdrop might bring down the price of XLM, except what is airdropped per individual is so small that it cannot be easily dumped. Then the video kyc, will prevent some people from having multiple accounts.

They did give out a hundred coins to those who passed the verification, but the algorithm for selecting participants was not very clear. As far as I know, not everyone who submitted an application could participate in this airdrop.
It is true. I received 100 coins, but my friends were not invited regardless of their registration and opening of the Blockchain wallet. They used a strange algorithm to choose participants.

On the contrary, they want to increase interest in their project. And video KYC is a good opportunity to exclude from AirDrops multiplays.

I received an offer like this from blockchain.com seems legit though I lost some XLM when I sent to one exchange but forgot to fill the memo because I have no idea what to choose and it did not arrive on that exchange and this is because of the memo issue, any similar incidents like this, anyway it's just $10 worth of XLM.

You must be wrong, it's not $10 , it's $25 worth of Stellar Lumens (XLM). The pool was $125.000.000 , so basically it's for 5millions member, but our account should be fully verified in order to claim the XLM Airdrop. I'm not sure it's still ongoing or already over.

The point of cryptocurrency is to be anonymous but this coin just seems like another one of those coins who's goal is to have higher price than anyone and not as they way it was built. I just hate the fact that they are verifying users now just to get an airdrop.
