Meh.
No worries, I offered to refund and I'll do that.

After asking some of the donors what prize they would like to see in the free raffle I've decided on the Pizza Ledger + BitcoinPenny Silver. So here it goes:

Tickets;
1 - owlcatz
2 - alamjob
3 - shasan
4 - alamjob
5 - owlcatz
6 - shasan
7 - owlcatz
8 - alamjob
9 - shilpy275
0 - Agrawas
a - Agrawas
b - REROLL
c - shasan
d - shilpy275
e - Agrawas
f - shilpy275

Two blocks will decide it. First block decides who wins the BPC Silver and the 2nd block decides who wins the Ledger. In case of the reroll ticket winning we just move accordingly to the following block/s.

For this one shipping will be on me.

BCP Silver - Block #609387 - "a" - Agrawas, Congratz!
Pizza Ledger - Block #609388 - "4" - alamjob, Congratz!

Good luck!

I'll also throw in the two MOAB coins, one for each winner.

The donation is cancelled because the DONATION program is cancelled. I DID NOT DO IT!

Please close this thread since this is not active anymore.
I am confused that how we could be cancelled our donation if we would not win a prize. There were only a few prizes out of 256 tickets. Tongue

I'm gonna cancel this raffle. The lack of interest just completely takes away any fun that could have been had here.

Please don't take it the wrong way, and to the ones that have donated I'll refund you (even if you sent directly to a charity) and then I'll pick one of the prizes and let you guys duke it out in a free raffle for that.

I'm sure it was just bad timing as a lot of people donate to charity privately both throughout the year but also during Christmas times so maybe we try this for a different holiday. I do appreciate everyone that showed interest here and hopefully you won't feel like I did you dirty. Sending out PM's shortly to sort out details.

Ah missed this sorry! Tongue

I think it is just for donation, nothing else. If it was for the base on price then Hhampuz would set the price for the raffle.

Comon People why the slots are empty. Let's go. The post is already old. Open your heart and and start buying some tickets. We all need to do our part. Lets not wait for other people how much they can spent. Poor people are all over the world and all over the net.

Let's go. Open your heat do your part.  Smiley

If no more does I will buy some more tickets. I am excited. Lets go.

To be honest with you I am myself a poor guy But I am excited to have my crypto collection that is why y see me bargaining to buy stuff. During this holiday donate me some of your inventions or donate me some crypto stuff you like to get rid off  and I will pray for you. I pray for the whole world anyway everyday.

My suggestion is to have a fix price for every ticket and the collected amounts will be distributed to the chosen charity either by Hhampuz or the choice of the community. How about that?

I am all for it. Infact that’s what I suggested to Hhampuz in PM..

All, this is nothing to offend anyone with big or small donations but I just want to express my feelings on this raffle.
First of all I want to thank Hhampuz for taking the initiative to help out with little charity work in the good spirit of these holidays.
From what I can see there is already about $500-600 worth of collectibles being donated as part of this raffle.
So if you are not one of those less fortunate people that Hhampuz is trying to help please make sure you atleast donate a decent amount that will make up the cost for these items that he is donating and do some real good in the world...

Just an update:

I'll setup crypto addresses where you could send some funds directly if you have no preference of charity or otherwise and then once the raffle is full the combined gathered amount will be sent to one/multiple charities of my choice (everything to be posted here as it happens too).

Right now there are 230 tickets remaining, would be nice if we could spin this on/during Christmas but we'll see what happens. Prizes will be given out no matter what.

Address has been added to the first reply of this thread. You can now donate btc directly to this address and it will be sent to one or more charities at the end of the raffle. Same rules apply with 1 Tx = 2 tickets and no donation would be too small Smiley.

Thank you! I was certain that Tor Project accepted bitcoin donations but apparently not, someone also shared with me that Save The Children had bitcoin donations as well but guess they removed it.

I've removed both of those from the list for now as I can't ask people to share paypal screenshots or whatever.

I've linked a few in the OP and they all accept BTC, it would be better if you found the address rather than me just posting one without you confirming it is the actual charity address.

If you want to donate BTC directly to an address I control that will be used to send out to a charity/charities of my choice once the raffle is full you can now do so!

Perhaps you don't want to pick one or can't decide or you don't have a preference at all. No matter the reason you can now send BTC to: > 37JfQwDs8rCpBbjUTpKDJXuZihp1L8s8hT < and I'll take care of the rest!

100% of all funds sent to this address will be forwarded to charities once the raffle is full. And the same rules apply - 1 Tx = 2 Raffle tickets.

We did this last year or the year before but now it's back in full force and I've added some (hopefully) nice prizes to the mix!

The rules are simple - Donate to any charity that accepts crypto and you'll get some tickets with a chance to win some cool loot.

Prizepool:
1x Ledger Nano S Pizza Limited Edition (Sealed).
1x BitcoinPenny Silver (2019 edition).
1x Set of Utah Goldbacks ($50, $25, $10, $5, $1).
1x Set of Generic Bitcoin Suisse notes (BTC, BCH, CSV, ETH, XCHF).
1x Set of MCC (Magical Crypto Conference) coins #17.
1x BitcoinPenny Classic Roll (2019) + 1x BitcoinPenny Short Roll (2019) + 1x 1oz Monero round.
3x Loaded Litecoin Genesis Coins (Each loaded with 0.5LTC).
2x BYOB The MOAB #82, #89 (Unloaded) 1oz Silver Coins.

Each of the above represents one prize that can be chosen by the holder of a winning ticket! More on this below.

Available Tickets:

How it all works:
You donate to any charity that accepts bitcoin, any amount and then you just reply in this thread with the txID of your donation and you will get 2 tickets to the raffle. You can make up to 5 donations/posts for a maximum of 10 tickets in the raffle. No amount is too small and hopefully we could make a small change through this. You get to choose the charity you wish to donate to (I'll post a few suggestions at the bottom) and if you want to get several tickets you could donate to different charities too! Once all the tickets have been claimed we will roll 8 blocks on the BTC blockchain which will determine the winners. The last two characters of the hash on these blocks decides it all. One ticket can only win once but one player can win several times. Each winner will get to pick the prize they want in the order that they won (from first to last). All I'll ask is for the winner to pay the shipping costs when all is said and done. Everything will ship from Sweden!

If anything is confusing just comment here or shoot me a PM and I'll try and clear it up. At the end of the day I'm doing this one for the "greater good" as it is easy to get carried away with our own issues of bitcoin dropping $500 over a weekend while others who are not so fortunate struggle to even have clean drinking water. (Not saying people here don't have real issues but I think most people here are better off at least financially).

Good luck!
