also, dash is not entirely a privacy coin, but it has a feature as a privacy coin, unlike monero and zcash which are privacy coins from the start.

Correct, Dash has optional privacy that is not much used on its network (less then 1%).

Dash privacy technology is basically Bitcoin's CoinJoin but then implemented into Dash's core and with more rounds to mix. Ironically there is currently
more CoinJoin mixing taking place on the Bitcoin network then on the Dash network.

I would classify Monero and Zcash as privacy-centric cryptocurrencies (privacy at its center / privacy its main use case) and i would classify Dash currently as a fast
and secure payment cryptocurrency with optional privacy.

it is definitely not worth it buying a privacy coin because of our recent regulation from the government about anti-money laundering law(but it does not mean it will not get a pump, in bull market everything will be green without exception). also, dash is not entirely a privacy coin, but it has a feature as a privacy coin, unlike monero and zcash which are privacy coins from the start.

Hi, what do you think? Is it worth to buy privacy coins (XMR, DASH, ZCASH) in 2020?
i trust all of them will rise, why ?
XMR = the master of new era of anon transaction
Dash = The best masternode implementation ( maybe the first, just my assumption)
ZCASH = the first bitcoin real utx0 implementation and Zero-knowledge proofs.

they all masterpieces of altcoin, i think can rise minimum 20% from highest price last year and stable

For speculation: My opinion is that all three coins are now very cheap.

To use the most convenient DASH - light wallets and fast transactions.
ZCASH out of all three is behind with its wallets.

Definitely not Monero after their official website hacking incident. How can you expect privacy and security from their team, when they can't even secure their own official website ?

Link : https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2019/11/official-monero-website-is-hacked-to-deliver-currency-stealing-malware/

Anyone knows how the hacker(s) got access to Monero's website in the first place ? We are two months further and this whole thing is starting to smell like a bad cover-up and
an inside job from one of their developers gone rogue.

With Dash you at least know your transactions are with low fees, instantly confirmed, can not be double spend, secure and have optional privacy.
Also Dash network is protected against 51% attacks through ChainLocks.

Dash is far more used then Monero or Zcash anyways and has some exciting new features to look forward to in 2020.

In the end it is all about use cases, and Dash will gain a few more important use cases once Dash Platform hits Dash Mainnet in 2020.

In my opinion they are very different coins in every way. for example: Monero is about ideology, privacy and decentralization. Dash is more about making money, marketing, investment etc. It lacks proper privacy and has centralization issues and has a corporate structure. It's like comparing BTC to Ripple more or less. However, I feel Monero is a better investment with potential to cross $500 because it is actually being used by people who need their transactions to be private. Monero is a way to help stay anonymous and is being used in the real world. Dash is not as commonly used in transactions and is not as private.

In my opinion if according from your list and zcash is the only coin that is not worth to buy. The rest just like dash and xmr are worth to buy right now. They have very good techs compared with zcash and you can also earn from pennies from dash too.
You just need to see the latest chart of XMR and DASH. Some merchants are also accepting DASH as payment too.

If you dont use them and just buy to hold or resell it dont matters. You can stay with surveillance coins. If you plan to use them, then Monero s a must. So merchant where you will spend them cant see how much money you have and where you got it and what else you bought. Not to mention that Monero you hold have no history. No one will know if maybe in past Pope Francis had it or Qasem Soleimani or Luka Dončić. No info attached at all.
