Hey guys.

Put two and two together and it isn't unlikely we'll see XMR trading above $1,000, what do you think?
Considering the confidentiality of information and XMR's potential over the long term, it's a good idea.  Let's make a comparison: In terms of supply / demand, ETH has a total current supply of 114 million, the current total supply of XMR is just 17 million.
In principle, the XMR fork from bytecoin has shown their direction and vision to be excellent, but overall platform mining is still below ETH.  But the trend of the future is always changing.  Competition makes the cryptocurrency environment evolve faster.
Similar to today's Defi fever.  So I am confident that this speculator can still afford to hit the $ 1000 price tag within 5-10 years.  Even earlier

A month latter and price is at $300. Will it need whole another month to get to $1000 or will that happen earlier?
Better title for this thread would be, $5,000 doable this year?

The moment people will start using crypto more, opaque ledger cryptocurency prices will skyrocket. If you dont use crypto and you keep it on exchanges and just trade you dont need privacy. When you pay in a bar or when you go get a salary and pay salary to someone you will start cherishing what advantages you have when using opaque ledger crypto over transparent ledger crypto.

But if we talk about $1000 Monero. That can happen in a month or two. Monero BTC ATH is at 0.035. So at today's Bitcoin value that is $1200 already.  When people will start using crypto Monero will be way way higher than 0.035 btc.

indeed, the price of privacy coins is depends on how many people use this coin for payment or something else, because people need privacy right ?
but, personally i believe monero price will grow and break its ATH my friend,
by the way, as i knew the ATH from this coin is less than $500 depends on coinmarketcap data, so $1000 for this coin will not happend in the near time buddy

1. You forgot about the smaller emission of Monero (I think that Monero emission now is smaller than Bitcoin's or something like that)
2. I wish you are correct.
3. Maybe you should know that there's already a Monero Speculation thread.

Hey guys.

With the recent news of Ripple getting delisted from all major exchanges, XLM could likely be the next one being targetted?

Recently DEX's has exploded in volume, because they don't enforce KYC or any restrictions whatsoever. Seems like more and more people care about privacy at this point.
This very fact made me wonder what the future price of XMR could likely be - Knowing that they are working on atomic swaps, which will make it possible to trade XMR on DEX's! Grin

Monero can't be controlled by anyone, nobody can see how much you hold. Complete privacy is pretty cool, which made the IRS set a bounty of $625,000 for anyone who break its encryption.
