Of course it's a sockpuppet account.  Jumpin Jewz for Jesus, every 3rd account in the altcoin section has gotta be someone's alt.  Ain't nothing here what it first seems to be.

Now, far as Monero go, my humble opinion is that it's gonna make a bee-line to ZERO.  Y'all heard the Coinbase doo talking about how no one's gonna be using bitcoin in 10 years.  Well sure as hell ain't no one gonna be usin' Monero.  Or Ethereum.  You can all take that as a hard fact, no photoshopping necessary.

Just hold.
Even if it takes a year from now, Monero will eventually reach 0.012 again, possibly even higher.
Personally, I think Monero is one of the four or five coins that will still be in use ten years from now.

As I said in my entry post it is not about long term price speculation in this thread. Exactly because just with your question you attract people saying Monero will be at 80 or 1000 or even 10000 somewhen.

It can never be proven so every troll/fanboy can add his shit to that speculation and claims to be right. Maybe open a long term price discussion or just join the other XMR Speculation Thread.

I hope like that, monero price are currently falling. I bought a few months ago with a price 0.012 btc but now the price about 0.009 btc. I don't know, have to wait how long to be able to profit, but I don't lose if I still hold.

i think XMR ist the best altcoin in the altcoin market now! we are now by 8 dollars per coin and this is very very cheap!
we dont know whats happen in the next years (more censorship, more monitoring by NSA and goverments, policing and so on).
i think long therm we will see 80-200 USD but not in the next months! maybe it will explode like bitcoin

What about long term? Is this coin worth outting in cold storage?

Oh, i dont think that we need to be hopeful for this coin because it will have a good future somewhen (unless another better coin appears) And i agree to the rest.

So far my prediction about the price was fine. I dont think that we'll go below 70 this time...but XMR is so unpredictable always. On tradingview there are also mixed predictions. So atm I would say waiting is not wrong to see the development.

ever since bitcoin price rise started all the altcoins are having a hard time keeping the price up because their value against bitcoin is dropping which makes the situation that much worse for them and for keeping it up in fiat terms but so far XMR have been doing a good job at staying strong, i am hopeful for this coin.

I am bullish but think we will see alot of roller coaster sideways for awhile. But since the spike my predictions have not been on like they used to be.

I agree and also thought about that GUI bump. You think it will bump xmr above 130? Also the RingCT could deliver a free bump, don't you think?

Update on day 2

As predicted BTC is strong again and XMR is under more pressure. We see now the 100 battle again which will may be lost again like it happen in the past. Also the fake buy walls disappeared as predicted. I think we will see 90 range again. Until the GUI is not released and BTC continous to new high's XMR will maybe even drop again to 80 or even 70. I consider to open a short position but since no whale recommend it to me i'm pretty unsure.

Anyway, I really wait for the GUI and I think and read actually everywhere that the GUI is like a abomb in the crypto. It will make XMR very strong and easier to use. But let's save this thoughts until the day x is there

Everyone is talking about GUI stuff over the next few weeks, so there might be a slight bump based on the hype.
I'm thinking there will be a 10-15% rise in price over the next two weeks.

Day 1 after initial Post.

Price dropped like expected. BTC is on a new rise which brings every coin under pressure.

So I assume we will see 90 this week again. Depending on the BTC development we maybe see a new XMR-downtrend.

Buy support is also very weak. These fake buy wall at 100 will soon disappear.

True, "moneylooser" is just one of several sockpuppet accounts here from one guy, who has faked and photoshopped posts from DNM forums and has done a lot of FUD against XMR.

Dont forget that pool starter Mr. moneyLooser  is famous for fake evidences, by photoshoping  posts of forum admins and present them here for FUD when he is shorting Monero.

since the speculation Thread is full with people talking about 100-10.000$ per Coin or other unrealistic fanboy trash I want to start a different thread here.

In this I want to discuss only short and middle term price expectations on a realistc basement. That means only estimations basing on facts.

Everyone is welcome unless you start fanboy crap.

Because I only follow whales and am a little fish in their shadow my estimations are always based on what they talk to me. I gave up some weeks before to trade on my own, it was never profitable. Following whales turned it into strong profitable.

My last trade was a long at 64 what i closed yesterday at 112. Pretty nice profit of 9 BTC

I was told and read on tradingview that XMR is a bit to hot now, the rise was due to a weak BTC. But since BTC have a sideway trend whales don't touch XMD or closed their positions because they think BTC will continue to rise.

That would cause pressure for the alts and since XMR rose strongest in price the last days, the price drop will also be bigger.

To sum up: All depends on Bitcoin at the moment. The GUI could also push the price a bit, but not, if BTC will have a new rally. Moreover there is the big variable named AlphaBay. How long this market will make it?

What are your thougts, at which price we will see XMR in 2 weeks? Since BTC recovered from 682 I think we will see xmr below 100.
