You can contact ocminer and ask if the pool has any known issues. I recommend Nanopool though, very stable and solid.

the difficulty is flying high with Monero is it still worth to mine it?
regarding suprnova, forget it, it cheats with hashrates and I mined there some coins, then sent it to exchange, they never showed up there, Nova said yeah, while you have mined it, there were some fork happening, so you loose your coins. cheers.

so I personally never ever will trust suprnova again

I also experienced problems with 'xmr-eu.suprnova.cc'. My 'wolf-xmr-miner' worked for a week with no earnings. Then I tried to switch to 'sgminer-gm', but it doesn't work with suprnova pool. Any comments from pool's owners?

Hello,

XMR.Suprnova.cc seems to have unstable stratums and ports getting closed.
Sometimes the ports open after a few hours reopen and the stratum starts working again.
It seems unlikely that ocminer is doing this himself because then he doesn't even make money himself.

A while ago XMR.Suprnova.cc:5222 had some problems so I switched but days later the problem was resolved.
Yesterday XMR-EU.Suprnova.cc:5222 (EU Stratum) didn't work and was also closed but minutes later it worked and port was open again.
Now XMR.Suprnova.cc:5222 (EU Stratum) DOES NOT WORK AGAIN FOR HOURS  Huh

I use tools on my local PC to determine if ports are open + this external site (https://ping.eu/port-chk)

Is someone DDoSing the stratums or how could this be explained?
I'm tired if switching my machines LOL.

Anyway ocminer should fix his problems and I had payout problems with him in the past BUT HE PAID ME ALTHOUGH IT TOOK A VERY LOOOONG TIME which I don't get because he is online every day  Huh

Maybe Suprnova.cc is haunted by ghosts and randomly open and close ports.
Ok no just kidding ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
