In my opinion, why should we limit our investment choices to only those two coins. XRP or BCH might be a good investment but from the top 5 in coin market, coins like BNB or EOS also have good potential in the future.
XRP was once under estimated then it went on to become one of the most profitable coin for a short spam of time, post which it dropped down again an trust me I have experimented with all these coins you have mentioned and BNB turned out to be the best and more stable than these coins as BNB has continuous demand due to binance trade.

XRP and BCH are definitely good for investing. The first one cooperates with some banking structures and is provided with their support. The second at the time tried to take the place of Bitcoin, but it did not work. Perhaps the founders of BCH still claim leadership and this coin can show good growth in the future. I also recommend you to have Bitcoin and Ethereum in your portfolio. Bitcoin is the most reliable cryptocurrency project, while Ethereum is the best coin for decentralized applications and an excellent platform for launching various tokens.

Do you recommend ETH only because of market capitalization? that might be good but we also have to look at the history of the prices of BCH or ETH, the difference between the prices of BCH and ETH is now not much different, so BCH is falling too deep if compared to ETH, and of course if both go up, the benefits of BCH are greater than ETH .and for investment, profit is the main goal, and BCH has it.

the two coins you choose are good coins. but you must keep doing your research before investing. how the two coins moved and the current market situation. both coins are suitable for long-term investment or daily trading all require research. and you should also ask for advice from people who are experts / have long invested in crypto.

We can consider eth as one of the best choice when investing. Having more choices when investing is also good than limiting the investment space where you can actually add more of it. XRP and BCH is good but it would be better if ETH will join the group.

As an investor you have to really validate the information, whether it is just fud or not. As a beginner you do the right thing by investing in crypto which has a large community, so there is no problem in my opinion with your investment, all you have to do is manage your investment. a little information from me on XRP, many issues say that XRP is often manipulated by whales, so why did you choose XRP?

Actually it's not really what you feel for BCH, because as I've observed you're just based on the feedback of many who said that it's a manipulative project. Haven't you got a confirmation on that speculations? Maybe it's good to find some proof before anything else would come out from our opinions, and ideas. As of now, xrp has been showing good potential to soar a good price sooner.

Better Bitcoin cash (BCH) than you have invest with Ripple (XRP), BCH price look stable after dump BCH can take moment back again to higher price but Ripple very slow for raising up to higher price and get many chance to make investor trust with Ripple can back to higher, many investor still waiting can Ripple have higher price or not.
I like investing in BCH because the coin usually goes up with Bitcoin in this market and BCH is a great help in payment so this coin has a very real value. I think in the near future BCH can reach $500 because this is the price that many investors are waiting for so there will not be many surprises if that happens. I personally hold more than 40% of the assets in this coin and will not sell if the price is not good.Of course there is still a lot of risk but if you can control your assets it is not a matter of concern.

You are also right that BCH has a similarities to bitcoin, but when it comes to buying both BCH and XRP, i spend my money to each of them equally because they both have a potential to increase their value in the near future that will definitely give me a good profit. You have chosen very strange coins. XRP is a centralised coin that is not very popular among crypto community and BCH is marked as a manipulation coin with an awful image. Invest in ETH, LTC or any other true altcoins.

For me there are still a lot of good cryptos and i believe that both xrp and bch is two of the best crypto to invest for, and if the bull run comes again i am sure this two crypto will rise it's price very high and all of the investor of it will get a good benefits.

I still do not understand why people believe that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash is owned and managed by 2 people, where is the decentralization? Where are the promises about real use in restaurants? And what about hashing power? Bitcoin hashing power is 50 times higher than Bitcoin Cash hashing power.

It would have been much better had you briefly explained why you decided to chose these two coins. As you might be knowing already, these cryptocurrencies (although currently ranking among the top 5 coins as per the market cap) are some of the most divisive crypto assets that you can get in the market. Ripple is being opposed due to its centralized nature and market manipulation and BCH is being opposed due to its competition with Bitcoin. Apart from that, there is no similarity between these coins.
I suggest choose XRP if your planning to hold for long run. because the potential itself is higher than BCH. And BCH is so volatile wherein good only to day trade based on the performance in my opinion.. Actually i can say both is good but the potential is different. So it depends .. And If i weren you make a TA behind instead, so that you know which one on that both coin is good and will fit on your strategy. Ao good luck bro.
buy both you wont regret. they are quite stable and have not experienced drastic market changes. but you can still take profit from both. my advice if you have more funds, buy BCH. because smaller supply values have more sky rocket potential.

invest in a good place. first have a product, the team is always updating about the progress that is happening in the project we are investing in, has a high volume and the project we want to invest has been running for a long time (if I personally have never invested in a new project), because investing in a project new ones have a greater risk than we invest in old projects. I think Bitcoin is the best place to invest
I don't really like these two coins and I won't invest in them. Yes, they have good position in the CMC now, but I am sure bitcoin cash will lost its position soon and won't be even in top 10. Ripple has more reasons to grow in price, but it is a centralised coin. So, I don't see any point in putting your money in these two unpromising coins.
XRP and BCH are the top 10 best coins. I think you have chosen a good coin. but I suggest adding ETHEREUM, because in my opinion Ethereum is the best altcoin that has provided great benefits to the crypto industry. so ethereum has a very real future. invest in some of the best altcoins, because that will give you big profits in the future.

XRP coins are already popular, but the price is still cheap. If we have capital we can buy a large amount. Even if there is small capital, we can still invest.
XRP have 43B supply compare to BCH with morethan 18m supply only. You can easily see the difference in price, but do not forget to look also in the supply. XRP is much cheaper but also have more supply compared to BCH.

I would choose BCH without any further doubt, but it is my opinion. I prefer to invest in crypto currencies that are not regulated, decentralised and have a limited supply. XRP is a coin that has none of those three aspects, thats why BCH is my choice.
but the bitcoin cash is not decentralized. you have to understand that this is the same centralized coin as ripple. all decisions about this coin are made by one person

If I have $100, I will use to buy both XRP and BCH, but I will divide $100 into 2 parts, $70 to buy BCH, and $30 to buy XRP. I am sure that with only $30, I can get so huge in XRP although I don't get a huge amount in BCH. Or I will use $70 for BCH and hold $30 just in case if BCH price is down for more. But I will search the other coins that will have the chance to increase higher.

and maybe few people will said thus altcoin are good enough for long term investments

I would advise you to correctly draw up your investment portfolio. Invest most of the money in reliable assets and calculate all the risks. You should not look at only two assets, there are a lot of other attractive coins in the crypto market.
Of all coins to invest, he picked this two lol. If in the right mind, one will pick BTC rather than the fork and then if you have BTC, you will stick to it than buying another fork. For XRP, its acceptable since XRP is great when you trade it alot and when there is a real movement of the price but if not, you'd be messing with the whales using XRP.
I will go all in with BCH.

Lol, a lease as an "investment", you are poor gold. XRP you can never won unless you buy the Ripple company.

Both coins that you mentioned are really great. But what I would suggest is start trading with a stable coin. This way you will get to know how this business works and when you understand the basics, then you can invest in any of these coins.
I am interested: how is it - to trade stable coins? They have almost the same price all the time, and very often, people simply invest in them to save their money from inflation. Bitcoin Cash and XRP - here I agree - are not the best variant, and as for me, Ripple is even the worst choice for now. Bitcoin and Ethereum are two reliable cryptocurrencies to trust and to deal with for years.
These are literally the last two coins I would ever put my money into, people who support these coins are either profiting from it or they are idiots there is no other possible explanation of supporting these coins.
First of all you have XRP which is basically pre-mined beforehand and controlled by the company by the millions, they have so much of it that they can literally change the currency and have even more of it if they want to, the only response to centralization acquisitions they have is "if we sell it all then we would destroy our own currency, why would we want to do that", well I don't want to figure out why you would want it, its not a risk I would take.
On the other hand we have BCH which is basically fake bitcoin, they did it just so that they could use some of their mining power to make more profit and there is literally no other use-case for it at all.

Both coins that you mentioned are really great. But what I would suggest is start trading with a stable coin. This way you will get to know how this business works and when you understand the basics, then you can invest in any of these coins.
Welcome to the crypto world. Hope you enjoy trading in this world. Both of the coins that you mentioned are really great as far as trading goes. Just be careful not to invest all in one place and beware of the deeming damages too that this business brings with it. Just do your proper research before investing your time and money in one place.
If only these 2 cryptos are compared, I will never choose XRP, especially now. China and the United States are trying to challenge by making their national currencies cheaper. honestly I do not like the coins you mentioned above with the reason they are centralized coins and for me not suitable for long-term investment. in the last decade the fact that they didn't have a good price growth, I think you need to reconsider before your money is invested in it and my advice is better your money be invested with bitcoin to minimize losses.

"solid" in this context (and usually in this board) means only being on top of some arbitrary list even if it is fake (that is the coinmarketcap.com list) and being pumped. and since both of these shitcoins satisfy these two conditions, they consider them "solid" even if they are shitcoins and even if they are centralized and scams.

In my personal speculation, Bitcoincash is one of the best altcoin at the moment. Though they had many ups and downs, they had a solid backing and are a mineable decentralized currency unlike Ripple. Ripple on the other hand has been nearly dormant in terms of development and finding markets while BCH is an actively used merchant coin and many business accepting it as a payment.
BCH will make you good as XRp will be depending on UST to BTC as always

Yeah you need to stick with the top coins only, xrp and bch are good but personally im mainly in btc and eth so i think at the monent it is good time to accumulate i have personally made this target that btc under 10k and eth below 200 is the range for more and more accumulation.

The best answer is bitcoin and can't even choose which is better from XRP and BCH consider both coins are crap coin without any utility usage and it was called as security based on the SEC compliance. XRP gets loss with R3 and companies are not interested to use it again and bitcoin cash full with buzzwords to be adopted by hundreds of merchant around the world.
All coins are good and profitable investment in the future. In General, it makes more exciting and getting bigger earning if you invest all this coins in the same way since they are top 5 coins in the market.

@Kaonashi1993 welcome to the forum now answering your question I would advise you not to invest in bch, as it’s not a good coin and they had to burn it to fake it’s volumes. Also I hope you have done extensive research before investing in crypto’s because crypto’s are volatile, and their prices are never fixed. As you’re keen to invest in crypto’s I would advise you to invest in bitcoins, and Ethereum for higher returns.

To be honest, those two are great investments specially for the long haul. But FUD will always still there, no matter what so it's better if you're not going to involved yourself emotionally with your investment/trading. They could be good as I have said for long term, like a year or two of holding, just saying.

well, i knew if XRP ad BCH was the TOP 5 coins at coinmarketcap now
but, i will not drop my money in both altcoins above my friend,,
i will choose ethereum and Binance coin rather than xrp and BCH
Don't limit yourselves on just two crypto projects since there are also some promising projects under the radar which could be technically superior and more disruptive to the ones previously mentioned above, but of course, you have to do an extensive research first on any of these projects that might caught your attention and see if it fits your criteria for investment. Imho.

To me, BCH is one of the most bullshit coin of all time, even the name, but it is what it is, history must has it to evolve. It's a coin that born from bitcoin's upgrading process, so basicly it's old bitcoin but they don't want to delete it, just kept it and sell with another name to get whole lot more money.
XRP in other way, is a coin that rise like trip to the moon because of the hype. And that rise, of course, not stable

Both coins are good to hold, but i personally recommend you to make sure you hold also a decent amount of bitcoin. its still the mother of all cryptos and i highly believe this wont change in the future.
