A currency that has a blockchain and/or uses cryptography can be called a crypto and obviously XRP is one of it even though it is close to fiat as it was centralized and has a good relation to the banks. But there is even more close than the fiats and that is the CBDC. Most of us are no experts here but we still like to give our prediction to cryptos. And actually, I was going to say the same thing about XRP.

I only like to clear the confusion of the OP that despite XRP is a crypto, it was still an altcoin and not a token because it doesn't have a smart contract and capable of creating another token under its own blockchain just like on what we see in ETH (for example).

actually OP just made this thread complicated because He can just search about XRP in google and he'll have tons of answers , but about the faith of this coin , we still cannot tell given that this has the ability to win case against them yet there are no concrete assurance of the growth as it stays too low comparing to how much is the value back when it was being asked by SEC and starts to drop, i thought after that case they will at least move this to a dollar and above but still holding to this low now.

This question of yours sounds a little bit confusing and I believe it might not have come out completely but for clarity I'll also say that, maybe you wanted to ask if XRP is a token or a coin, thereby differentiating between it being the native token of the Ripple chain or it being a function of a smart contract feature.

If this is you question then it is actually a coin, which is a native currency of the XRP chain and not a token.

XRP's future cannot be tell but only predicted , there are lot of talk that when Ripple win against their
case in US Security exchange surely it will go high and great again but it has been many months now yet nothing best comes.

XRP is a Alternative Cryptocurrency mate , never that this become the token.

But if you are truly interested in Investing in Ripple then better to understand the risk but there is a big opportunity that this
will climb high in Bull market but this is just my 2 cents here .

We will never know but we will not find out that as well because it seems that it has been on the roof on 2017 bull run and that makes it not coming back there anymore. While being optimistic is fine, looking at the exact numbers and market cap of it won't be determined then.
What can happen is it can reach $1 first and then from there, people will start to see that there's a significance to the speculations that it can be back to at least $3 for the next bull run. And with all of that, this is not a financial advise and I'm not holding XRP but only uses it for transfers. Cheesy

The correct answer to your questions have already been answered by some members earlier, but I'll like to add that despite SEC's charge against XRP their future still depends on the investors both small and great, because without them the coin will just lost all its value and fall back to the ground. So even after clearing all charges from the SEC they still have to convince their investors that they are worth investing in. This coin has suffered for too long but I don't think the SEC has any plan of backing off until they crush its progress totally. Ripple ought to be one of the worlds greatest altcoin with a good price, but today it's just like other coins, struggling to survive.

Brother no one can say it correctly because anything can happen in Cryptocurrency so it is not possible to say that its future is very good but XRP is very old and altcoin there team is very strong and they are working very well with the project, If you look at the position of XRP last few years you will understand that it was a very good position but because of bad news or bad market conditions but the performance of this project shows that this project may do well in future but no one can say 100% sure. Didn't the charges get dropped for the other representatives? And possibly, the majority has been partially Ripple. Maybe that's why they somewhat lost sight of what they were doing and protecting in the first place.
