Okay, obviously people do not understand this. The number of nodes that XT has is really irrelevant. Most of them were made using trial accounts (cloud solutions). Neither is a single website important.
Although it is worth noting that the manipulation was clearly shown yesterday. The number of nodes spiked to ~1250 before going down to 877 within the same day.

How was it shown? Have I missed a thread?

It's openly admitted to here - https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoinxt/comments/3i1dra/psa_its_super_easy_to_manipulate_the_node_count_i/

This is funny. XT is being cancelled while it was only a fetus

Dude, it's just a website that shows a few charts, you can still check adoption here: https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/nodes/

Bitcoin XT still available at Github...

Looks like the chickens are coming home to roost!

On this note is coinwallet.eu legit? Isn't a corporation that provides no service or benefit to the public unlawful? Seems this company's only purpose in life is to DDoS the Bitcoin network. Do anti-hacking laws apply here?

I can't find one single mention of coinwallet.eu on here relating to anything other than stress testing so I think it's a front to push the XT agenda.

All they're doing is using an open network. It's the network's issue if it can't handle it.

Coinwallet.eu site is down probably by DDoS attack. Screencapture https://archive.is/dlhs1. I think someone is stress testing them...

Is not coinwallet.eu backed by Peter Todd ?

Todd seems to think XT sucks based on his Twatter posts so I don't think he's behind it however, manipulating the facts you believe is what "they" do best.

In any case I've got the following in my bitcoin.conf so the attack is really of no concern to my micro mining op.

Code:
blockmaxsize=1000000
mintxfee=0.00005
minrelaytxfee=0.00005
limitfreerelay=5

Haven't seen any mention of that anywhere. No one knows who it is.
