Take note that trading futures are completely different than how we do our investing here though; they don't actually get to hold of actual bitcoins.

I can see huge companies using polymath's platform to launch their security tokens. Their platform would also bridge the gap of startups and VC's. https://polymath.network/

Not surprised because everybody is trying to get a piece of the action as of late it seems and why should Yahoo not do that. They have a huge user base and if they use their apps to crypto then that is more ad revenue for them in the long term. Smart play by Yahoo I gotta be honest.

I am so happy to see Yahoo Finance featuring cryptos. Soon crypto currency will be the future of monetary system.

With exchange-traded bitcoin futures almost here, cryptocurrencies are becoming popular mainstream investment instruments in the eyes of many. As such, every trading and investing service must give its clients exposure to bitcoin in order to stay relevant. The latest company to jump on the bandwagon is Yahoo, offering its users new ways to track their cryptfolios.

Could you post a link to the article)s) you found about this? There's so much coverage over the last few days, it's getting hard to find the needles in the haystack  Smiley

They can't take it any longer since everyone is talking about cryptocurrencies. And as far as I know Yahoo has been tracking some of the happenings in crypto before. I'm following their facebook page and each of their updates but most of it before is only about other finances. But if they will give us new ways to track cryptofolios then that will be another good innovation and it will be giving the market a positive impact since Yahoo is a big company.

Good idea to have a place where you can have an overview about your invesment in cryptos. There are already some apps and websites where you can track it, but if it's integrated into a well known service provider's toolpack, it can be comfortable for the average users.
On the other hand, this has only one advantage compared to an excel sheet, that it can update the exhange rates on demand and automatically. If you can manage to code into your excel sheet to grab the exchange rate from any of the popular exhanges, this above mentioned advantage vanishes
