It seems relatively known, but I had some coins that I could not get elsewhere and I traded for zcash, cannot withdraw - no response to ticket. And I just withdrew EOS it cost me 10 EOS 137 dollars, WHAT THE ****! You got to be KIDDING ME. The charge was grey and did not have a total I didn’t realize it til after I did the deed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. No response to ticket yet, probably never will get one.

Is there a way to get them to respond?

I'm sorry that you had to go through this dreadful experience. It's really a pain in the arse when you have a problem with the operation of the site, and they just flat out ignore all of your requests. But hey, that's yobit in a nutshell. I think you knew the risks when you were depositing money into yobit, and unfortunately, that risk did not pay off.

Even if they do respond to your ticket, it's impossible for them to refund your EOS withdrawal because technically, you agreed with the terms and the amount of fee you would be paying when you submitted the withdrawal.

However, you should keep creating new tickets if they are flat out ignoring your old ones about your ZCash withdrawal - you deserve to get it. But there is really no easy way to get them responsive, unfortunately. Otherwise, they wouldn't have as bad a reputation as they do.

Avoid yobit at all costs, if you can.
If we look at how Yobit & Co have been growing significantly since last year, then it's clear that people don't bother to listen to any given advice. They just want to trade trash coins at all cost.

It's not even worth telling people to not use these exchanges anymore, because they will do it anyway due to their greed stupidity. It's like talking to a wall. It doesn't have any effect.

Yobit & Co will keep growing and at some point everyone using them will pay the price for it. These exchanges ignore all regulations and refuse to change it in order to become compliant. It can't end well.

Exactly. What is actually keeping this exchange alive is because:

a) It lists new coins for trading extremely leniently, it doesn't matter if your project is complete crap, as long as you pay the fees, you can get listed on yobit. This also means that a lot of crap projects are listed on Yobit, meaning that you can't trade it anywhere else.
b) The ignorance of people actually using yobit.

A constant flood of problems, including locked accounts, blocked withdrawals, delayed deposits, out of date withdrawal fees all come down to one single core reason. They are not regulated, they are not registered, and therefore, you can't report them to anyone. Yobit users should really start realizing that.

I was a YoBit user from the most beginning and I became really disappointed in them from this year. After my unsuccessful trying to contact the support or to find any recommendation for another exchanger with low withdrawing fees, I decided to take everything in my own hands and this days I registered on Livecoin exchanger and for now I am pretty satisfied with it's work. Yes, after YoBit everything seems to me not comfortable for use, but I guess with time this feeling will pass Smiley

I know Yobit is not good exchange since acouple years, they listed coin that created by them self and then manipulate the price. Just like Liza coin, which now no buyer in their book order, they only want to make more money by fraud activity and offer high profit that finally trader lose their money.  Every trader should be avoid this exchange and use other legit exchange, like Binance, Bittrex, Cryptopia, Huobi, etc.

You really made me check it if that's for real and hell yeah the withdrawal fee for EOS costs 10 EOS which is accurate to the value OP has given.

Follow the suggestion of most here that avoid yobit at all cost and if keep on trying to contact them through ticket. If you get a response then you're a lucky guy but I doubt it that they will return the fee you paid.

Just for reference: Businessman connected with Yobit arrested in Moscow

If someone still don't know what happened to someone who has huge share on them.

The only difference between two probably is, yobit somehow survived longer than cryptsy. (correct me if i'm wrong) That's surprising.

It is very likely related to the intentions of the exchanges. Crypty's Paul Vernon is a blatant thief that just couldn't handle dealing with all the crypto asset values under his control. It's natural for a thief to do what he does the best, stealing when the temptation of an easy jackpot is there.

Yobit's intentions at this point are more focused on generating income from noobs, but that doesn't mean they will never end up walking the same path. I hope not of course, but this exchange just isn't very convincing, and with their Russian roots they might even be part of a larger network of exchanges that are functioning as cleaning point, just like what BTC-E might have been.

BTC-E never ran with people's money, but they got raided by the authorities.

Yobit feels a lot like cryptsy reloaded.

Same shitty and laggy UI, same bad customer support, same all-shitcoin-trading central wannabe, delays, fuck ups. The only difference between two probably is, yobit somehow survived longer than cryptsy. (correct me if i'm wrong) That's surprising.

Is there a way to get them to respond?

Feel sorry that you feel the wrath of one of the exchanges with worst support.

About the way for them to get respond, you have no choice but to deal with their bad support, that's the only way. You can also try trolling at their trollbox (if you have a required balance to used it) as some mods are there. Well not an assurance that they will help you but we don't have any choices. From now on, learned to accept that it will takes long time for them to respond by days, weeks, months or even forgotten completely. Try also to accept now that all the amount involved are now loss.

Is there a way to get them to respond?

well, if it's about yobit, you can be sure that they will make your life a hell, since  years that yobit are arrogant and never care about their customers, they do not even care about negative feedbacks left by DT members, another aspect to take consideration is that no one knows who are the owners of yobit, so you can not force them to respond. You'll have to be patient and wait for them to respond to you one day.

If you already withdrew the EOS, there is nothing you can do.

The EOS transaction fee is probably so high as a result of them not keeping up to date with the current price of that token. The 10 EOS figure would have made more sense when EOS was under $1, but now that has obviously skyrocketed to a $130+ withdrawal fee which is ridiculous. Unfortunately, if they already sent the transaction, you just have to consider the money to be gone.

For your ZCash withdrawal, though, is the wallet in maintenance mode? If not, then why can't you withdraw? Yobit's support goes without saying is one of the worst in the industry. But anyhow, you'll need yobit to respond to your request one way or another. No magical way to make them do it tohugh, you just have to wait and keep on submitting tickets.

Avoid yobit at all costs, if you can. Even conducting a p2p trade would have been better than using yobit given the risks.

I don't think there's another way. Other users who have problem with Yobit have nothing to do either, but to wait for Yobit's response to their ticket. What do you mean exactly with cannot withdraw?
YoBit support doesn't  reply on tickets at all, I still have three from December and the whole exchanger is working not  stable. I used to  ash out many on Capitalist with 4% fee which is actually OK if to compare with other ways and exchangers, but today when I desperately needed money they didn't suggest such Capitalist withdrawing option, so I had to pay 8,6% in sum to have those money and add to that they will come on my card only withing 3 days, but not immediately  Sad Suggest me some other exchanger, somebody.

Yobit is shady as fuck the way they operate. If you do a quick browse through the internet, it has been going on for like 5 months that Yobit charges 10EOS in withdrawal fees.

The reason they do this is to discourage arbitrage trading between exchanges. They trap in people not knowing what they do, and when Yobit doesn't even up front show you the fee estimate, then you just know that they are out to empty your pockets. I even remember a case where they charged people like +$200 in fees, which just shows how much of a cash grab that exchange is.

Binance, the most popular exchange only charges 0.4EOS for withdrawals.
