Topic: YoBit BTC deposit (Read 173 times)
Same thing is happening to me with a LTC deposit. I submitted a ticket just in case there is an actual problem. My transaction completed and has been visible via blockcypher for more than an hour already, I have a new account as well :S....
so i made a BTC deposit on yobit and according to the transaction id the transaction is completed and confirmed

but it's not showing in my YoBit wallet
On the website there is even a "pending deposit" box which content says "You have no incoming deposits"
so i am really worying right now, because the BTC wallet on Yobit says the following, when i press on the deposit button
even tho my account is comletely new (since today), was i supposed to hit "obtain new adress" button, because i didn't do that
but that would not makes sense, because i just created the account and it should give me correct "new BTC adress" right away...
can anyone help me?

The coins haven't moved out of the yobit address you sent them to. Perhaps the yobit bitcoin wallet is out of sync with the network.
That warning from yobit is probably for people who haven't accessed their account in a long time. They often send coins to an exchange address they made a note of years ago, only to find out it was compromised afterwards.
After bitstamp was hacked it issued a similar warning about not depositing to old addresses because a hacker could access them.
Hopefully your deposit should show in your yobit account later today when they have fixed whatever problem they have.
