yobit? even in 2019 there will be problems if these exchanges are inconsistent and insecure. yobit exchange does a lot of exchanges, so stop to be there and switch to another exchange

Yobit is one of the trash exchange which we need to stay away from it, a lot of fake volumes and the fake coin will list there. We need to be very careful with Yobit exchange and we should transfer our funds to other exchange which has higher security.
Not only with higher security but rather be more worth to deal on in terms of service given and the transparency and the smoothness of transactions that we would do.

Yobit doesnt have a good reputation on this forum and majority knows it to those who are aware but for new users then they should really be avoiding this exchange

if they dont like to experience some possible problems which might neither be get resolved or not knowing Yobit doesnt really answer out queries or complaints
into its users.

Nevertheless, I have also experienced this on Bithumb Global bit immediately it was corrected so I suggested it's minor technical issues that may arise at that time. So don't see it as spamming or scamming.

If you are active enough on the scam accusation board then you will often find several cases of some users experiencing losses due to using Yobit exchange. Also, if you are active on the beginner and helf board then you will find yobit is an exchange that you have to stay away to using it. This has pointed out that yobit is not recommeneded to be used as our platform to store our money unless we are willing to lose our money. I recommend you to only use a good exchange like binance, okek or even coinbase as a platform to trade or to invest your money.

At the beginning of browsing the yobit exchange, you will find the ETH / BTC pair in front of you, since it is the largest volume.

Suddenly a minute after I open the site, I find someone who has bought 270 Ethereum, while all the sell orders are not worth even 1 Ethereum. I wish it was just that, but there were also more than 5 success trades at the same hour, each one is 200 Ethereum (1000 eth in total = 2,7m$ in one hour). I'm not sure if this is normal records, but i'm sure that there is spamming in the trade history, can any one please check yobit website now before they see this topic Roll Eyes.

Edit:

Indeed, all exchanges do not immediately record a balanced trading history. For example, every time someone buy 1 ETH, then in the sell history 1 ETH is also sold. Because every time there is a sell history, of course there is a history buy. This is just logic. But the system is not the case. We don't really understand this. I also think what you think.

Basically, time to get new exchanges guys if you're still actually using these which are known to be risky. So many easy choices now to not use them:)
Well, scam sites like Yobit are continuously spreading, it comes along with the spread of the crypto market. If we have an experience in Yobit, it could be easy for us to know their allies. Will it is to know that they are also clever to hide their real intention but that won't take so long and they will give up. That is why we need to cautious in using exchanges and must have to extend our search, especially for new exchanges as they are prone to this.

That's just the nature of people and human. Scams spread all the time in real life in every sector. The Nigerian email scam still goes on alive and well today and I can still see in 2021 in the news people in my country fall for it.

Same as ponzi and get rich quick schemes, same as MLMs. Always people find new spins and new victims. Crypto and exchanges are not different like this:)

I got some altcoins left there that haven't moved yet because their wallet is always on maintenance. This is my main problem before I used their platform because I really needed it when an emergency comes. I can't even earn a profit because I need to trade/exchange some altcoin that is on maintenance wallet. You even needed to wait for few days to withdraw your altcoins before. I wouldn't trust a crypto exchange when it has a gambling side.

They have a long history of doing the maintenance shit on there customer wallet for unknown reason to hold the user balance and hostage it on there exchange. Most there trading volume is fake and they are just using it to attract user to use the exchange. They are adding fake coin too with same ticker of other well known token. They seems a good exchange before cryptomarket boom. They just don't upgrade and maintain there low quality exchange.

Yobit, Coinsbit and also P2PB2B are market scams. I am having a deposit problem at Yobit, until now it's still not resolved. they don't respond to users who have problems.
Avoid trading on obscure exchanges as that will only hurt you. as is currently the case with many problematic exchanges. you as a trader must be more selective in choosing, on this forum many give bad reviews

I had no idea P2PB2B is still around. Now THAT was a pure scam site. In fact, as soon as you saw an ICO listed there or saying they would list there, then you know for sure they're lousy and should be avoided.

Basically, time to get new exchanges guys if you're still actually using these which are known to be risky. So many easy choices now to not use them:)
I tried to exchange some altcoins before in the P2PB2B, and my first experience with it was awful. It was horrible than Yobit that you needed to verify your account first before you withdraw your money.
I'm not too fond of this system as you can set a withdrawal limit for an unverified account. Their fake trade volume history is obviously. At first glance, you can tell that they are using fake trade script volume.
That's why always avoid a cryptocurrency exchange like this, and always check reputation/reviews on what trading site you're using.

You already have the experience from Yobit and many exchanges just like Yobit, they are somewhat clone.
But it is to wonder why some people got trick and got fooled by a x10, x100 profit. These are known scam trick, I don't know why people are still not learning.

This is really scary to see and based on the screenshot you've provided that's already a strong proof and nobody could contest to that. Yobit has been doing some sorts of manipulation here, and I just hope other exchanges doesn't do that because if they're also doing the same thing, our asset deposited their potentially isn't safe at all.

I believe most traders know this kind of tactic especially those who at one point made a trade on this exchange. It has been known about their shady trading practices. So if you do need to trade here, just make sure you get in and out your funds fast. Or better yet, find another exchange that you can use for your coins. Hard to trust this exchange with your hard-earned money.

Seems like their bot hasn't been updated, still running on 2019 amounts, at that time 300ETH was conceivable, just a few thousand dollars right now they do 1 million trades and they aren't managing to push the price up even by a few cents. Indeed funny, they aren't even trying to hide it, probably a good fake trade script is too costly for them, and people there would simply buy any lie

Checking their other pairs seems all are being inflated, LTC, ZEC, Dash, same random amount running from 300 to 900 coins but, and this is a surprise, seems like they don't do this on the RUR pairs, maybe they play nice with their Russian customer base.

One more thing, as I was just browsing their site for the first time in a few months, remember their garbage coin, talk token?

Too bad we don't have a unit that is even lower than a satoshi.

I was messing around with Yobit back in 2016.I had a really small amount of BTC there. My overall experience was good, they didn't scam me,but I would never buy a shitcoin, that is listed on Yobit.

As others have said the same thing, they didn't get scammed directly, and no, probably Yobit will not steal your funds or run with them after a "hack".
They are definitely doing some selective scamming and I assume they are choosing their victims carefully, probably knowing they will not file a complaint as most of those that use Yobit are doing so because of the lack of KYC requirements, but their business model is particular, they prey on newbies and on people trusting their investment box that is actually a black hole where no matter how much you make in daily interest you will lose money on the devaluation of that useless token.

I'm not surprised by their shady tactics.I'm surprised that Yobit is still relatively popular, despite all the negative reviews and their bad reputation.
A warning to all the noobs-Please do NOT deposit big amounts of cryptocurrencies there.
shitcoin on yobit only manipulation project from team. they launched many shitcoin that have no utility at all, and purely only for special purpose. if you look at bitcoin balance ,now maybe its worth thousand dollar due bitcoin price movement. although i have no problem with yobit , but i am warn my self to keep away from shitcoin in this exchange.
There are still people who had been using this exchage inspite of its issues back in the past or even up to now.Based on experience i havent faced any issues and everything went
smooth.I dont know if im just lucky or they are really working as it should but those are only in the past years as i had moved already in Binance to deal up with my trading career.
Back on the days where i do sell out some of shitcoins and went smooth without problems but later on when reading out those pile of complaints and issues
then i do have starting to have some doubts.

There are already bad feedbacks and bad reputation of this yobit exchange. Obviously, they've been using fake trading volume to attract some users to trade to their exchange.

Here are other feedbacks from those users that experienced how they have been scammed by that exchange.
- Yobit feedback

Since you brought this up, we should be vigilant and be careful on selecting reputable exchange to use.

It has been a long time since Yobit has been a shady exchange even with negative feedback and it took a long time when there were complaints that occurred to its users, for example I already felt when my withdrawal was not credited while the status was successful I started looking for support on telegram, twitter and email but there was no serious response even I was ignored for so long, well here I have started to suspect that Yobit wins are inconsistent in overcoming this problem even with many people saying fake volume is true and Yobit exchanges always take advantage of opportunities where they will pump and this distributed in email messages to all users.

there are no bad feedback about this yobit exchange by doing a simple research on google, i don't know why
I literally search it on Google, and I saw a lot of scam reviews about their website. Even before, many people are complaining about Yobit being a shady exchange. It's better to trade in popular and trusted exchanges like Binance. Don't risk your money there. It's hard to earn these days.

Welcome to Yobit exchange;)

As I've said in the past, personally, I actually never got scammed by them but this was all the early days long before I started using proper exchanges. I haven't used it in years so can't say much BUT an exchange that runs dice is really shady;) Just be careful and regardless of the exchange, never risk more than what you can lose.

If not then stay away on it. That's the only i can suggest..
Yobit is a notorious scam website in this forum and I don't your point that just because the fake trade didn't appear on Google search doesn't mean that they are a reputable website. I don't think that it is a bug because if it is then they should've fixed it the moment that they saw it and how come is it a bug though, how can something be so fake that it looks like a bug to you?

Believe me I am not surprised a little by seeing this. People who know about yobit I think atleast they will not be surprised.  Because they know how shady the yobit is ! It's normal for them and they are doing it regularly.

The funny this is that I used the exchange previously but just trying to visit the exchange and see I really forget the site domain name and I put .com instead of .net . later I find it by google search. LOL

Always and forever, I think.
That's all they've got in order to gain and attract investors that are willing to lose their money. They will be showing fake (huge) trading volume to catch attention but very unfortunate since most traders are already aware of their doings and such kind of awareness will help the entire community of stepping away from Yobit. That is why when hearing about Yobit, people will then think about scams.

Yobit has been known to be a scammer from a long time ago, either from airdrops or from their system,
everyone says that, but for me, yobit is still very normal as an exchange, because the volume on yobit is also quite a bit,
yes even though there are rumors about fake trade history, in my opinion it has not been proven,
the most important thing is not to store your crypto assets there, just only trade and you will be safe.

It's not new news, this exchange has a terrible reputation since years ago. Faking volume is probably one of their most famous shady activity. That being said, it's not exclusive to Yobit. A lot of shady exchanges do this too. So, the best thing you can do is avoid them and use reputable exchanges/dex instead.
I don't know why they are still in the business though, by this time they probably should have been down on the ground with a lot of people confirming that they are a scam of a website. @joniboini is right, exchanges do this to attract gullible people to put their money in their site so they can scam them.

OP's observation is correct and I think that cuts across exchanges with low liquidity. I have also observed similar scenario with, at least two exchanges, I use. It's obvious that such exchanges use bots to trigger trades, either cancelling them or completely moving them slightly below one's sell orders or above one's buy orders to prevent one's orders from getting picked. It's frustrating when that happens.

BTW, why will anyone even still trade on Yobit when there are several scam accusations against it littered on the Internet? Kindly keep off it. It used to be a great exchange in the past but not any more.

In my personal opinion, Yobit's trade order book becomes more shady in the recent years and they mainly do wash trading to fake the report volumes to the coin tracking websites to keep their exchange alive but its not actually a very surprising thing since we know Yobit went into lot of unresolved scam accusations and shady projects IEO and fake investment schemes, etc.

Before I'm using this as a liquidity metric to know the actual trading volume per exchange and its comparison but since it's now owned by Binance, it's hard to trust that might could be there a biased, but so far, I don't see.
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/.
Coinmarketcap gives Yobit a bad score but that exchange is given same bad score by coingecko.

Yobit is ranked at the bottom on coingecko too. Yobit is at 209th rank and the given Trust score from coingecko is 3

The average bid-ask spread is 25%+

As we heard on this exchange platform was that scamming users, weird and fake trading volume, house of scam projects or shit tokens, and many shady activities.  So in the first place, why you are choosing them since we all know their negative activities.

However, I have heard that most of the exchanges now have this problem, they can't show their actual trading volume and probably this is one of their marketing strategies to lure traders and new users to use them as an exchange.

Before I'm using this as a liquidity metric to know the actual trading volume per exchange and its comparison but since it's now owned by Binance, it's hard to trust that might could be there a biased, but so far, I don't see.

Talking about shady volume?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/this-is-too-much-yobit-fake-volume-is-scandaloushere-are-the-proofs-5211086
https://coingeek.com/report-indicates-64-of-crypto-volume-happens-on-shady-exchanges/

This doesnt limit out on yobit alone but also in other exchange as well but nothing beats out the shadiness of this platform
and if you are just new into this market then better get rid and never use that shitty exchange yobit.

Everything that you will read here is negative about yobit since they leave a pretty bad impression in this forum and too many allegations/issues on the internet that haven't been solved. But the trades you indicated are possible if yobit is not mentioned. There are better exchanges right now and as of now, I can't really suggest you using yobit because of the risks especially if you are holding a huge amount of assets.

There’s a lot of bad reviews about Yobit but of course its not the only exchange who fake the trading volume and trading history, maybe its a BOT but still the datas are being manipulated. I have my experience with some other exchange and the worst thing here, the token has a huge trading volume and yet the price remain the same, you’d better deal with the best exchange.

I think ever since I met Yoobit he's always been weird. The last time, when there was a staking program, after that I never went there again. At this time I will not go there again. There was a lot of bad news circulating. Many people say there is a lot of price manipulation there. I don't think you need to transact there. Many crypto exchanges are more open and trustworthy.

If you are trying to trade on Yobit then I would suggest you stop it right now and withdraw everything as soon as possible. It's one of the shittiest exchanges there is and its features and promotions are shittier than what they advertise. I used to trade on Yobit in the previous bull run when it was something but then when the bear run came it didn't have anything to hold on to. I have withdrawn everything from then when I felt that it was not safe. It's not just Yobit but the same with every centralized exchange, if you feel that it's not safe then take it out.

Yobit's common problems are poor customer support, spam airdrops and fake trade volume. Already some Scam Accusations have been opened in this forum against Yobit. Personally, I face bad customer support on Yobit. They never answer me. Just imagine, if you lose any crypto asset from yobit, you will never get it back. Because of their poor customer service.

Before using any exchange have a proper research about it because you have to store your funds on that particular Exchange and if it is scam you simply loose your funds in very easy way to some scammers.Yobit have past allegations of being scam exchange, support team not responding, faking trade volumes, bonus provided expired after you sign up, withdrawal pendings after sell order and so on.So simply move your funds to some other exchange which is reputed otherwise you will be losing your funds very easily.

Just avoid them.
They're known for having a lot of issues. If you have deposited any amount there, it's better if as early as now you withdraw your funds there and move on to a better exchange.
An exchange like Binance.

Fake volumes are observable on exchanges that have fake buy and sell orders. With eyes, we can detect fake orders.

Not for you but for newbies. How to detect fake orders? They are set up and cancel in seconds and with same amount. Only order price will be moved up or down but number of altcoin (in sell orders) and BTC or USDT (in buy orders) will be similar. Human can not set up and cancel orders too fast and continuously like that.

There are many negative feedback about this exchange so I advice you do not open an account here. Furthermore, becuase it is a scam exchsnge so that you do not have to waste your time investigating.

Yobit was good when it was created but ovet time, it become worse and now most of the coins are garbage with a little of volume, maybit they are fack too

Yobit is a bad exchange and their customer support does not exist.

They run many spam campaigns on the forum and I believed they created a spam foroum: Cryptotalk that opens for Russian members. Initially, that forum is for everyone but the owners add more restrictions and now it is a local forum.

It can be a forum to shill Yobit exchange. With past Cryptotalk and Yobit campaigns, I think Yobit are owners of the forum.

Fake volume is a disease on many exchanges and Yobit is one of them. I am not shocked with your finding.
