I have no idea where RoboTrade currently fits in with the Yobit scammers because I do not use their website but if they are offering RoboTrade to users as a way to auto trade then it makes no difference to the bigger picture of them being scammers, it does however become a way to make scamming more convenient.

All it means is this is another tool to help manipulate users in to buying useless tokens that have no blockchain and are useless outside the Yobit sphere. Furthermore when sellers automate the selling of their useless ponzi tokens to the next victims in the conveyor belt they are effectively utilising RoboTrade to do it.

Kinda late to the party but..although yobit is indeed one of the sketchiest exchanges out there but the specif scam referred to in this topic (ROBOTRADE) is literally just a feature that allows you to automatically set your buy/sell orders beforehand and then have them filled later on.

Where is the scam here exactly, or am i missing something  ?

It is very hard to argue with that view, the whole Yobit platform is designed to make money for the scammers under the guise of a legitimate exchange.
All those that receive Yobit emails are advised to simply ignore them, send them to the junk folder.

I also received a notification I just ignore it and report it as a spam this is just another cash cow for Yobit they are exploiting their traders from their fake volume newbies should be aware of this Yobit has a lot of traps on their platform you will be sorry if you don't heed our advice.

I guess the system will be almost the same as stop-loss system because the robot decides to buy or sell in the range that we want. Of course, we need to set it before. I prefer to use the stop-loss than to use that because I am familiar with the stop loss, and I can set my own price to buy or sell later. If people are curious about how the system works, they can try it by themselves, but use the money you can afford.

Man, that douchebag exchange is still creating useless tools to attract members. Beside tokens and next robo(cop)-trade, that exchange is also trying to attract the interest of the crypto community by creating forum that similar with btt. However, IMHO, that "counter" forum is more like a trash forum, rather than quality forum. Very far quality. Distance, like Earth and Pluto.
Yes that cryptotalk forum run and operated by Yobit never really took off. I just browsed a few pages there just to remind myself what their forum looked it, I even forgot the name and had to use a search engine to remind me. It is as you said a trash forum.

As for them still creating useless tools to attract people, they never stop. They are relentless in their in-house ICO pumps and dumps that have no blockchain and are internal ponzi schemes. This RoboTrade seems to be adding buy/sell in a single page so you can effectively place a sell order before you even buy.

I got that e-mail from Yobit as well and didn't click on it until just now.  I was a bit taken aback by this image right next to the login button on Yobit's home screen:

I don't know exactly what they're offering there, but I seriously doubt it's $1700.

And this Robotrade thing I don't fully understand--I did look at it on Yobit's site, and it just looks like you'd be placing a buy and sell order for a trading pair at the same time.  There doesn't seem to be any information as to how it's supposed to function, which doesn't surprise me with Yobit.  They really are scraping the bottom of the barrel these days.
They are probably sending out different mailshots to different users.

The "1700 Dollars" were "1700 Yobit dollars" which as you guessed are pointless and useless in the real world. Outside of Yobit they have no value and inside Yobit they only have enough value if you first buy in to the so-called local ICO and then receive your free Yobit dollars as a bonus. All that information has been removed from their website. Their Terms and Conditions are still a joke and the link can only be found from the registration page.

It is a miracle this scam has been going on for years and they have scraping the barrel nearly all that period.

This is a new technqiue Yobit are using to fools its users, it is called RoboTrade.

Here is a screenshot of what Yobit are sending out in their emails:

What is clear is that Yobit are not slowing down, they are stepping up their campaign. Their fake ICO launches are also showing no sign of decreasing and added to that their fake multiple ICOs which are both pump and dump as well as ponzi schemes they are adding RoboTrade to the mix.

Imagine how much money Yobit will be making when users are particpating in buying and selling their useless and worthless ICOs tokens. Forum member o_e_l_e_o excellently posted here capturing the essence of what is really going on with Yobit by mentioning the following: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53650350

"Let's take the X10 scam as an example, since it was the one which was shilled on here.

This "token" has no blockchain, has no smart contract, can't be withdrawn or deposited, and doesn't exist outside of YoBit. It was created out of nothing by YoBit to be traded only on YoBit. It was launched on December 19th, with ridiculous claims of being "100% safe". YoBit created and sold 68.7 BTC worth of tokens, generating around half a million dollars of pure profit for YoBit
"

Now with RoboTrade being touted as the next big thing on Yobit, they will be looking to increase the amounts they already scam from users that should know better.

The moral of the story is: stay away from Yobit no matter what they claim RoboTrade can do....
