BEWARE OF YOBIT !!

After all the previous ways Yobit have scammed users they have managed to find a way and embarked on another new technqiue, it is called Virtual Mining using a fictional token called (wait for it...) Minex

Here is a screenshot of what Yobit are sending out in their emails:

So, just like all their other tokens created by the Yobit scammers, these Minex (virtual mining tokens) have absolutely no value whatsoever in any capacity apart from being used in a ponzi scheme which means in order for users to make a return they should buy and sell before the pyramid collapses in full knowledge that they will suffer near total losses and at some stage so will others.

Everybody is advised to stay from the Yobit scammers.

Seasoned forum members will be aware of the Yobit scammers but newbies and those who joined after Yobit stopped their campaign here might not be aware of what Yobit actually is.

BEWARE OF YOBIT !!

Has there been known lawsuits against them?
I think there was a lawsuit against the exchange site in the year 2017 or 2018 which I heard the owner for jail for it but the exchange scam activities increased and upgraded to an extraordinary level ever since the news of it own lawsuit. However, I think the best way to sue them is to have a good crypto lawyer from Russia.
The funny thing is despite the warning about the exchange some people still use it.

This is because of their greediness, they are blind to the truth and they see Yobit as a platform to make money
You maybe right but there are some naive crypto traders and investors which use the site cause they were through some exchange guide site.

just visit there sponsored forum and you will see praises about Yobit on ow they make this profit from Yobit these members are good at shilling for Yobit, because they are all paid to shill and praise Yobit to high heavens.
This is expected on their forum site since people on there will pay for their silent

So was the owner set free or the new owner is still using the Yobit name for its scam activities? Because things like this were the owner of a business is doing fraudulent activities I think the Yobit itself should have been shutdown by now which didn't happen. I didn't notice them closing down or their website not being available so I doubt that this really happened.
I don't know if the Yobit owner (Pavel Krymov) was released but he seems to be truly arrested then and the current CEO now according to my research was female which claimed to be from San Francisco while the exchange domain name of comes from Panama city and operated in Russia and I believe the reason this exchange still operate now is because they are somehow backed by the Russian government

Huh... getting a hell of a lot of emails from them regarding this advertisement. I have flagged them as spam yet they keep sending from different emails.
Yobit claims are unsustainable and yet they believe in their lies.

I never read anything about any lawsuits against the Yobit scammers I never knew anything about it. Does anybody have any background information about any possible legal case against them?

I remember in the past reading about rumors that yobit was being investigated, I had to search to find the news:

Cryptocurrency Exchange Yobit Investigated in Russia on Fraud Claims

but yobit said it was all a lie:

All news about Yobit are fake and paid by EdinarCoin, don't pay attention

— Yobit.Net (@YobitExchange) March 3, 2017

that’s why I think it’s hard for yobit to be facing lawsuits.

Yobit changed strategies, they now don't freeze people's money, they now deceive people which becomes an indirect form of scam because people are also at fault for deluding themselves. I've known for years that a certain group of people like hyip/ponzi sites and look at it as a game only. Virtual Miner is a form of hyip/ponzi and people know it... unfortunately people are aware that it is a hyip site. I went to read the yobit chat and read comments on the yobit forum on the Russian Local and realized that people know that Minex is a ponzi scheme and not legitimate cloud mining.

Now what I get scared about is that yobi is an exchange and is putting altcoins without any use and meaning and then put investbox and then put virtual miner, it is no longer understood if yobit is an exchange or not, it seems that it has become a website where it has of everything

That is true, they should have been shut down long ago but somehow they are still going strong and scamming at an alarming rate. Maybe after a full thorough investigation law enforcement agencies from multiple jurisdictions might have the resolve to take action but they should have been shut down by now, I mean they are not even an exchange now they are just a ponzi promoter that claims to be an exchange on the side.
There should be some kind of cease and desist order that is issued so they can stop their operations while investigating. The jurisdictions will surely hamper but shouldn't shutting down a site be easy. I hope that the investigation bores fruit, I feel really bad for innocents that were greedy fallen for this trap.

Has there been known lawsuits against them? Since if they do really have a bad reputation when it comes to scamming people with ponzi coins it's strange that they are still alive and running. People who have been scammed in the crypto industry tend to take matters in the legal sense that's why we have been seeing lawsuits from left and right but I'm surprise I'm not seeing any against Yobit. Maybe people are not stepping forward or doing the first move that's why no action has been taken against them so far.

I have seen Yobit many times and many of my friends are using it. Never been interested because other people that was experienced knew what was coming. One of my friends even have their tokens locked out. I do not know what is the deal with this but shouldn't they be shut down a long time ago?

I think that member coupable created similar topic about this yobit virtual mining before Virtual Miner: Another scam offer from Yobit.
That topic was created more than month ago on September 1st
It would be better not giving them more advertisement with opening new topics about this ponzi fake cloud mining thing Smiley

It's not an advertisement but more of warning and awareness for people who are tempted to buy this mining Ponzi scheme, they will keep on sending newsletter and updates from their social media positively, these threads are more on giving investors and traders the real picture of this Yobit virtual mining scheme.

Yep, with all the exchanges out there it's extremely hard for a complete noob to know which ones to avoid, and they also may not have developed a sense of smell for shit offers/programs/whatever like this one from Yobit.

This drives me nuts:

Very unprofessional, and obviously Yobit hasn't improved in any way whatsoever in the years they've been around.  Good warning for the newcomers, JollyGood.
Thank you, as you are aware people who have very little background or knowledge about crypto and are just starting out could be potentially susceptible to these types of scammers.

The Pharmacist, if you go on to their website and look at the sell wall of those desperate to offload fake tokens they purchased then you might go more nuts or even worse you go full-on berserk because the whole thing has scam written all over it yet like a production line service users are falling for it and the cycle goes on. Yobit must have made multiple millions out of what they call their ICO tokens but they are useless and pointless numbers made up from thin air.

Now they are offering this virtual mining trash and they used the name of a scam crypto project called Minex... the mind really does boggle.

If i am not wrong then they are the only platform who send highest number of emails to their registered users and most of the email contain selfmade (useless) investment ideas. After not getting enough responses from IEO advertisements through users emails now they have imported another idea which is blended with cryptotalk this time. Personally i think talking about yobit is nothing but a waste of time and thats the reason i am completely  ignoring all yobit related things (Email, media news, Social media, Cryptotalk).

Thanks Jollygood for bringing our attention on their recent activity and i wish forum newbies be aware about it.

Note: Unsubscribe from yobit email notification is the best solution for us.
I agree, maybe they have seen enough to know IEOs especially on their scam exchange will not be happening as the market is slowly dying but their are launching imaginary tokens which are usable only on the Yobit website and is designed to ensure they make money whereas most investors will not because it is a ponzi pyramid scheme.

As you pointed out they are probably sending out emails on very high levels and their Cryptotalk website is another fishing platform for them to utilise to make money all by promoting in one way or another their trash projects but it is the people that are new to crypto that I feel sorry for because they have to navigate through a lot of scammers before they get an understanding of what is really going on.

I missed that thread, thank you for the link. I have that user on ignore, I do not know why I did it now but I will try to look in to it and find out why.

As for not creating more topics to give more advertising to Yobit, you are definitely right but there is a fine line between posting about them and inadvertently promoting them on one hand and warning people about them on the other. As long as the words Yobit and scam appear in the thread title names then maybe that would hopefully not be misleading users.
