What I think is interesting about Yobit is that certain wallets like Bitcoin, for example, are always working, while some altcoins have problems.
At this moment, the following wallets aren't working (and this is a very short list since I'm not trading most of the coins on Yobit because it's completely unstable):
NLG: the answer from Warden is that the source code wouldn't "compile". I replied to him showing the NLG README information how he can fix it and until now, NLG is under "maintenance". Even the NLG authors complained Yobit simply doesn't care:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gulden-1577392INFX: I can't withdraw. They simply put a warning: "transfer from cold storage" and left the message for days without any answer from the support or some attitude to fix the problem. Maybe a case of "fractional reserve" (which would be a disaster)?
BTS: missing deposit... No reply from the support.
So the only way to use Yobit is if you know somehow which wallets are working and which wallets aren't working (and you can't trust the status on the page, since some coins with active status will not work at all).

If Yobit did the right thing and acted in a professional way, they could gain a lot of users, but the way this exchange is administered, they'll be stuck at the current volume forever (if they don't lose volume and users over time). Yobit today has less volume than, for example, Livecoin (which has 10x less coins). It's unbelievable someone took a lot of effort to build an exchange, write the interfaces etc and simply is unable to operate it in a reliable way. They could gain a lot more money (with a much higher volume) if we could at least trust them.
On the other hand, if they do this on purpose, then I'm just wasting my time waiting for them to act in a way they will never act (although I still don't understand how someone can gain a lot more money acting in a honest way (attracting more users and volume), but prefer to just provide an inferior service gaining some bucks here and there over missing deposits and withdrawals). Non sense... Look at Poloniex and see the volume difference. Yobit could have the same volume as Poloniex, but if the same problems remain, it will never happen.
