October 1, 2019 – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has made renewing business names easier by partnering with e-payment platforms so that proprietors can renew their business registration online.

Good news sa mga business owners, this new initiative by the government will make our task to renew our businesses easier.
They are currently accepting PayMaya, GCash, and LinkBiz (no idea about this one).

let's hope that they will also accept payment from coins.ph so we can use btc to renew, but still this improvement is a good one that will eventually lead to bitcoin being accepted in the long run.

This should have been done years ago as the country is getting behind with the digital and online revolution.  Now, I am hoping that more and more government offices (including local government units even down to the barangay level) will be adopting the same. I am not sure if there is already a laid-down policy by the government on this but this is a good direction that we should support and encourage. This can save a lot of time and a lot of effort and of course money on the side of the  business owners and also with the government as well. This can significantly minimize red tape which we know has been bogging the government for a long, long time. Lastly, I am wishing they also consider cryptocurrency linking with Coins.ph for that matter...that would be a blast!

A big help to all business owners who are busy enough just to make renewal for business licenses, I will definitely try this since I have a small business retail store in my place, thanks to DTI for integrating online payment technologies to serve customer better and more faster and convenient unlike old days where you can spend a whole day tired.

They talked about crypto regulations. Sabi ng isang kakilala ko na nandun, they were trying to regulate even altcoins.
What? Saan to?

Okay to ah. Kailangan na talaga natin e-utilized yung mga online platforms that can lead to faster transactions. Adding Coins.ph as a mode for business renewal would be big. I don't expect bitcoin to be accepted right away. But people using Coins.ph will be exposed to bitcoin and crypto currencies in general.

That's right, when I was renewing my business license, I need to consume the whole day just to get the job done, and sometimes you have to come back for tomorrow because you are not accommodated due to the number of business owners who will renew their business license to avoid penalty.

This is a fresh news, hopefully people will know about this so hindi na hahaba ang pila.
