Hmmm strange because Israel is listed on Paypal's site as accepting PP payments:

When using PayPal you will always subject to arbitrary harassment justified by freaked out KYC / AML regulations. I'm glad Bitcoin is here to save us from their policy.

I'm sure PayPal will die sooner than we might imagine today. Bitcoin is superior in all aspects. All we need is improvement on the usability front which will soon be provided by numerous entrepreneurs embracing Bitcoin.

Trust me!
Paypal has put this limitation (Can't sent personal payment) on some countries. This isn't the paypal decision, Those countries have forced them to take this step.

Have the countries forced them to do that or have the US, or some jurisdiction PayPal adheres to, enacted those restrictions? I wonder about the actual reasons for that, but I imagine in this case it's about the current conflict in Israel and Gaza!

Really??? How and why is this? Can you send PayPal to Iraq ect?

Why do people keep using paypal as if it was the best thing in the world?

Paypal sucks and there are tons of alternatives.

Try sending Bitcoin; that usually works even when a country has a pickle stuck where the sun don't shine and doesn't allow third party payment systems like Paypal. (Israel probably doesn't intentionally block Paypal, but it's known that Bitcoin is legal too.)

Probably this restriction has to do with all the bombings to Pelestine, probably Palestinians have the same restrictions. But don't worry soon Bitcoin will end all wars of the world.

Huh, interesting, could be. Maybe it is some sort of precaution against funding any specific site? Are those restrictions only in place now or have they been there before already? But PayPal really is a rather bad way of sending other people money.

Ha, interesting. But I guess PayPal isn't the best way to send money to private people in general! It's really only useful when paying for stuff online. For consumers the buyers protection is pretty good. But as for sending money... no way. Bitcoin would be the way to go!
