Only a single person can control whole of it ! Impossible.
This currency works around million people's in a long chain. So how one can take charge of it ? I think currency is always in the hands of traders and there are a lot of traders around here.
OK, by the way, if it happens true, then first of all I will transfer my amount to my bank cash it out. Will go out for some fresh walk and spend money for joys and entertainment. Grin

Well, you will control nothing, once people decide to sell their bitcoins and to start buying some other Alt coin.... Wink

When this technology comes under threat from centralized control, people will just

move on to the next thing. There are some people who would not care if Bitcoin were controlled by a single entity, and only cared if it work.... but we know what dangers lurk in centralized control, like

PayPal and banks.. so I will exit the scene once this happens.... out of principle. Sad

I think everyone will be doing things that could benefit him alone. But behind all that he's done will impact badly on the survival and growth of the bitcoin.

Mining would most likely not end if a good hashrate balance was achieved after a threat of >51% control, as has happened in the past (and the hashrate keeps growing).

I leave Bitcoin right away and find another, 100 % decentralized crypto currency.
No way I will stay here if Bitcoin become centralized or somebody can control it.
It's against basic idea of Bitcoin, decentralization and freedom.
